H&M invited me to view their new ad to launch the David Beckham Bodywear collection, which was directed by Guy Ritchie at the Soho Hotel in London yesterday.
It was quite a fancy affair, with champagne, canapés and popcorn.
After the first viewing of the ad, the PR asked us if we wanted to watch the ad again; we all said yes for, erm, research purposes of course.
The ad shows David waving goodbye to his three sons (actors) in his dressing gown, which becomes caught in the door of the Range Rover.
He chases the Range Rover, jumping over hedges, which leaves him shirt-less, running through gardens, tennis courts and swimming through a pool which leaves him soaking wet.
Just when you think he is going to catch up with the car, it speeds off again and the ad ends with a coach full of tourists snapping the topless Becks before he continues to chase the car in his slippers.
The ad will air for the first time tonight in the UK on Channel 4 at 9.50pm.
