Anne Hathaway looked absolutely delightful on the red carpet for the ‘Les Miserables’ Paris premiere, held during the Avenue Du Cinema Festival at Cinema Gaumont Marignan in France this evening.
The Oscar-nominated actress wore a vibrant Prada gown.
Prada aren’t known for their gowns; so they tend deliver more misses than hits.
This fuchsia satin strapless column gown with a red crystal embellishment is a hit for me. I especially like the less-is-more approach to styling this look.
Stud earrings, a silver bracelet and a perfect rouge pout completed her look.

The colour is so striking against her skin. It looks wonderful.
I agree.
She’s a simple girl, which works really well with her porcelain skin!
My only issue with this otherwise flawless look is the unfortunate puckering of the satin around the darts in the bodice. It gives the fabric a “cheap” look in that area. Other than that I really love this look–simple and statuesque, stunning color, touch of embellishment and quietly styled.
+1 the best she’s looked in a while

I have issues with the satin, as well. The fabric takes it into bridesmaid dress territory for me.
The darts around the bust bug me too. Gorgeous color though. I like the idea better than the execution.
WOWZA! That’s all…
Pretty against her skin tone but this dress looks dated.
I wish the gown was shorter so we could get a peep of her shoes… But so happy to see her wearing a vibrant color
Lovely. Would have been perfect if it were more fitted. I wish her lips didn’t always look so dry. She should coat her lipstick with gloss.
I like the color, but agree that the fit is wrong… I’ve noticed that Anne has been wearing very loose fitting dresses since the Golden Globes… I’m not implying anything it’s just curious…
The color looks great on her but the fit of the dress around the bust is very unfourtunate and unflattering
for once i don’t hate prada on the red carpet! yay
anne is looking stunning.. i do not sense any try-hardness with this look
I can never get behind satin, my least favourite fabric.
She looks spectacular. The design of the darts does appear to be difficult to achieve in satin. That said, I don’t really care–she looks just gorgeous.

Stunning, and that color is just amazzing on her!
Overall, it’s a beautiful look. I love the color and the silhouette on her. I love her minimalist styling.
But I agree that the tailoring and fit at the bust is not the best.
This is Prada? Wow. Very glad it is not black or white, refreshing to see her in vibrant color.
I was there and she was beautiful !!!!
This is a big hit for me. Love the color against her skin
LOVE IT!!
She looks gorgeous!
Yay! Color! Finally! (cue dancing in the streets) As others have said, this is a great silhouette for her. The darts are a little awkward (yet another reason to eschew satin), but I’m too happy about the color to quibble.
Is she still one of Rachel Zoe’s girls? Her style compared to Jessica & Jennifer’s this awards season is night & day. I see who’s the favorite. She looks beautiful.
Glad to see her in colour, the bold hue looks striking against her porcelain skin. I like though it’s column design you can still get a sense of a shape of figure.
yay! color! finally! she looks great! y cant she wear color more often?
The dress is horrid and shapeless. She would be better dressed in a potato sack.
I love the color of the dress and even if I would have liked a statement bracelet I like this look, she’s so cute. When it comes to Prada, most of her evening look are a miss, I agree with you, but they’re hit they’re stunning, I remember Milla Jovovic wearing a couple of absolutely beautiful dresses.
The dress fits awfully. The poor fit makes the fabric look very cheap. Like the Erdem look at the PGAs if she is trying to quieten those pregnancy rumours she is going about it the wrong way!
She looks great… finally a look from her that makes you sit up and take notice. The color looks great against her porcelain skin. But the fabric and fit could have been better.
My first reaction towards Anne Hathaway is “WOW!!” Recovering from her fashion major failure in New York premiere (a.k.a. Tom Ford boots and not wearing underwear), Anne Hathaway wowed Paris in this vibrant fuschia Prada gown with delicate slash beading on the neckline!! The fit is not an issue for me as her styling is so impecabble!! She proved that less is more!! Can’t wait for Berlin premiere of Les Miserables, buck it up!!
I like the color and beading on the dress. The rest of the dress is blah. Hair and makeup are lovely.
It´s a HIT for me, the colour, the silhouette, the clean understated styling – all works so well for Anne, the problematic satin doesn´t bother me on this occasion, BDOTW worthy.
Stunning! I loooove this from head to toe!
The creases make this look so cheap
