Eva Longoria attended the grand opening of SHe by Morton’s at Crystals at CityCenter in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday evening.
We always seem to have very strong reactions to Eva’s red carpet looks, whether it be admiration during Cannes Film Festival, or frustration during the rest of the year, but on this occasion she gets a thumbs up from me.
Dressed in a Cushnie et Ochs Spring 2013 off-the-shoulder frock, the pointy piece was styled with a simple bun, red lip, stud earrings and Charlotte Olympia ‘Daphne’ pumps.
This is the second time we have seen Eva in these pumps; could she finally be replacing her Brian Atwood ‘Maniac’ pumps with these heels?

I much prefer Eva in simpler looks like this. Hate the shoe. Prefer the more delicate look on the model. Wish it were a tad shorter…
I don’t love this. I think the point is overwhelming her and her hair just emphasizes it. Not a fan of the dress, and she is so tiny that she is easily overwhelmed.
She completely changed the vibe of this dress, and I don’t think for the better. It’s edgy and sexy on the model; it’s pageant-y on her. I don’t love it.
Agree completely! well put
The dress looks better on the model, Eva’s look is OK from the ankles up.
I agree. The heels messed up the look.
I really like this from the waist up but I think the hem length and shoes weigh it down. She should have kept the model’s just-above-the-knee length and opted for a less chunky shoe.
This is a great look! Thumbs up from me!
When I look at the model’s shoes and then I turn to Eva’s shoes, it’s such a downer. Also, the hem length makes her look shorter. I think this dress would make more sense on someone like Charlize Theron or Liv Tyler.
I like the simplicity of this look on Eva. Her makeup is great and she looks relaxed. BUT, she routinely frustrates me by wearing dresses that seem to emphasize her relatively straight waist. Unfortunately, this look is no exception to that trend.
I love the shoe, hate the dress. She’s way too petite for this, and they didn’t even fix the hem. It was just overpowering her petite frame.
It reminds me of that Kors black dress Gwyneth wore with the white pumps.
I don’t like this at all.
Baby steps to sandals. The hint of toe takes away a tad of heaviness, just need to get rid of the platforms now. It’s a quirky but chic LBD.
The angularity and fit don’t work on her fuller, shorter figure. She needs softening, not edgy.
I don’t like it because the bodice looks so wardrobe malfunction ready…not working for Eva.
Eva’s styling ages her about 20 years. I wish she would embrace a more modern look as she is an extremely beautiful woman.
