Gloria Reuben stood out on the red carpet at the 2013 NAACP Image Awards on Friday evening, which was held at The Shrine Auditorium in California.
The ‘Lincoln’ star wore a vivid yellow Lisa Ho Spring 2012 gown.
I much prefer her bold hued strapless silk pleated taffeta gown over the runway nude version. Gloria’s celebration of colour is very much appreciated.
So was her styling which was kept simple with a silver clutch and silver jewels accessorizing her look.

I don’t like this dress in either colour. The fabric looks cheap and I don’t get the random add-ons on the skirt.

The midsection on this dress is doing terrible things to her figure. I’m not even looking at the color or fabric – the dress would be bad in any fabric because of that midsection piecing.
Knees down I like the ruffles…and the marigold color is fun. But this dress is SO tacky, cheap, and prom-like. It’s too low-cut, incredibly unflattering, and shiny in the worst way.
I’m not crazy about this dress, but I actually prefer the runway colour. I’m not usually a fan of nude colours, but I think this dress looks much better in that pink hue.
The gown does end up looking cheap, dated and tacky on Gloria. It doesn’t accommodate her bust properly and does not display her figure in a flattering way, and she needed an elegant updo.

This is a horrible dress. It makes her shoulders look really wide. Extremely unflattering all around.
Such an odd dress, especially the bottom ruffles.
