Leslie Mann was all smiles during the photocall for her latest movie, ‘This Is 40’, held at the Adlon Hotel in Berlin, Germany this afternoon.
The actress, who usually favours a select group of designers, has been branching out lately.
On this occasion, she wore a Marni Resort 2013 head-to-toe look.
A casual brown-and-pink jacquard blouse was styled with a pink belted fitted skirt with a pleated hem.
I would’ve expected Leslie to style the look with matching pink pumps, but she selected brown leather ankle-strap pumps from the same collection.
Golden wavy tresses completed her event-appropriate, chic daytime look.

I love Leslie BUT I don’t like this outfit. It doesn’t suit her – it needs someone who is younger (e.g. the tween/teen actresses of today).
I like this event appropriate look.
FC, you wrote Rome Photocall in the headline.
thanks…it’s been a long day 8am – 9pm
Oh yes, that’s long, you should go to bed early tonight and not be a night owl.
It’s been a long day of studying for me, for my final exam tomorrow..
Yes…part 2 of my day starts now at 10pm
Need me time, jumping from work to bed makes me feel souless
We appreciate your hard work FC.
Leslie looks cute but still grown up elegant.
It’s different from her normal fare but other than the stripes on the bodice (which make a trompe de l’oeil apron/suspender look) I think she’s pulling it all off pretty well.
At first glance I thought the pink vertical lines were a part of the skirt —i.e., suspenders or braces— and the overall effect was schoolgirlish.
For that reason, I would prefer the skirt with a different top.
I love the rest, including the shoes.
I think this is really cute on her–I have no problem with the slight schoolgirl reference. Just so glad she didn’t wear the socks.
I like this but not feeling the top that much.
Marni will forever be one of the coolest brand in my eyes. I’m glad there are some Hollywood stars like Leslie who doesn’t take fashion seriously and wears clothes that stand out in an unconventional way.
I love this ensemble. I think it’s great for a photocall. It’s also a perfect winter outfit, while still giving evoking a season-forward feel with the pastel pink. I will let my inner-Leslie Mann fangirl flag fly.
Just ok.
