Amanda Seyfried is first, with Nina Dobrev a close second. Also loved Viola Davis and Sally Field, but sadly, not everyone could make the poll.

When I saw Sally Field I said she would be a shoo-in for the best-over-50 category. Alas!— not enough candidates to even hold that contest this time. But I agree with you that she looked very nice.

The beautiful Amanda Seyfried in Zac Posen. Nina Dobrev as my runner-up. And kudos to Kiernan Shipka for looking so adorable and flawless each time she steps out on the red carpet.

I love how almost all of the looks are in my Top 10. :D

Without a single doubt Kerry Washington for me. Her look was something special and styled and carried off impeccably, an obvious winner for me.
Nina Dobrev and Kiernan Shipka follow.

forgot to mention Nicole Kidman, she looked so gorgeous, sexy and confident, loved it, placing her very close 4th for now, but so close can be 2nd or 3rd.

Go back and read over the comments for Anna and Jennifer. Neither got good responses. If you remember I liked Anne, but the readers didn’t. This is a readers polls, so they reflect the comments, not who is winning awards or who is the most popular at the time.

      It really is simple mathematics

I’m very sad that Anne didn’t make the cut :/ Too bad the rest of the readers didn’t agree with me.

Don’t get the groundswell of support for Nina Dobrev. She looks lovely, but it is nothing particularly special, in my opinion.

It was between Nina and Kerry for me with Amanda just behind because of superfluous necklace.

All together an uninspiring red carpet for fashion but excellent coverage on RCFA.

    Nina Dobrev.
    Kiernan Shipka runner-up.
I thought that Amanda Seyfried, Naomi Watts, and Jennifer Garner were perfect too.

Nicole Kidman and Kerry Washington would have been my favorites had their hair been better. Not that either’s was awful, mind you, just a little bit “off” for my personal taste. Kerry’s was too severely asymmetrical, not the most flattering frame for her forehead and face. Nicole’s was too stick-straight.
    But their dresses were exceptional!

January Jones and Kiernan Shipka were the only two looks I found interesting ( and perhaps Amanda as a distant third). I voted for January as it seems she is getting little interest from others, hoping for a much more exciting show at the Oscars!

Yes, I agree (and also voted for JJ). Overall though, I found this event to be much better dressed than the GGs.

Marion is my favorite here. Even though the skirt looks a little messy, I like how she isn’t afraid to wear a dress that stands out like this. Jane Krakowski is my runner-up- I can’t believe she isn’t doing better in the poll!

Marion was my favorite too. Along with Jennifer Lawrence. Those navy colors are fantastic. I think Jane’s dress color is really strange. Its almost like her skin melted with the dress.

Nina Dobrev is stunning in that dress (what a beautiful color!) but Kiernan Shipka is ALWAYS perfect and age appropriate.

    1) Nina Dobrev, Nicole Kidman, Kiernan Shipka
    2) Runner-ups: Jennifer Garner, Amanda Seyfried, Kerry Washington,

Yes, I voted three times because I could not decide among Nina Dobrev, Nicole Kidman and Kiernan Shipka

    My top 5 looks:
    1.)Nina Dobrev
    2.)Amanda Seyfried
    3.)Jessica Chastain
    4.)Nicole Kidman
    5.)Kerry Washington

Normally I would have a Top 10 list but quite frankly, the looks from this night weren’t that great overall. There were too many ill-fitting gowns, poor shoe/accessory choices, and too much bad styling as a whole. Too often a look left me saying “so-and-so could do so much better”–Jennifer Lawrence, Kaley Cuoco and Ariel Winter in particular.

I’m sad people usually go for safe and boring looks on these polls. I mean, Helen Hunt!! Jennifer Garner for wearing the same dress like a 1000 times!!! Dobrev in a pretty color but a generic dress…

I know everyone can’t have my taste but people, we are supposed to love fashion…

If we don’t reward riskier efforts everyone will be wearing the same strapples gown by the end of the year. Stars pay a lot of attention to these sites, and they’re really afraid to be the laugh stock of the night for their fashion choices and end up playing veeeeeery safe. This is pretty evident since the fashion blog era started.

Voted for Amanda. Nina looked lovely but I suspect her rabid internet fan-base is inflating her numbers…

I agree that Nina’s dress it’s relatively simple. However, that dress fits her like a glove. The color, the little lace panels, the fit, the her styling made all the difference to me.

Agreed on all accounts. She has a similar fanbase to Kristen Stewart when it comes to this kind of thing.
I really loved Amanda’s addition of the necklace, it was the perfect accessory.

I am terribly disappointed that you did not put Jessica Lange. She was absolutely gorgeous, a lesson of chic for all the women at the SAG.

overall this was a pretty disappointing award show. my favorites were claire danes in givenchy and sarah hyland in Dolce and gabbana but since those weren’t options i had a tough time choosing between naomi waits and nina dobrev but wound up choosing the latter although i wish her styling was different.

For me, this event was so underwhelming. A tad disappointing really. The only ones who made me go WOW were Lea Michele and Jessica Paré.

Nicole Kidman. The color is amazing and the dress is interesting and did I mention it’s not L’Wren Scott? My runner-up is Naomi Watts, I have never really noticed her but lately she’s been on top of her game

Marion Cotillard and Kerry Washington were my best dressed. Unique and perfect from head to toe. Amanda Seyfried, Nicole Kidman and Kiernan Shipka were also great. I actually found this red carpet more interesting than the golden globes’, which totally disappointed me. Great coverage as usual FC!! I can’t wait for the Oscars!

I really wanted to vote for Marion Cotillard in Dior because I loved everyhting about her look – from her bob to the colour of the dress -, but I had to vote for Jennifer Garner in Oscar de la Renta. We don’t see her often look that glamorous!

I gave it to Marion. It stood out the most to me. Nina was a close second, but at this point I’m convinced she could wear a potato sack and still look good.

Elie Saab’s dresses are amazing but i can’t stand this dresses winning almost every Best Dressed poll here, every week.

    1. Nicole Kidman
    2. Kiernan Shipka
    3. Marion Cotillard
    4. Amanda Seyfried
    5. Jennifer Garner

My top three were definitely Marion Cotillard, Amanda Seyfried and Jessica Chastain. It took me a lot of time to decide which lady was the best, but at the ned of the day Amanda wins for me.
I think she’s the only one that really left me speechless.

i can’t understand kiernan shipka’s fans. for me is a teenager who dresses like a lady, a modest and conservative one.i feel there is no fan in her closet, and the choises are always playing safe and trying too hard to be very sic.And i vote her as my least favorite in this pole. sorry.

Nina all the way.. And I’m not part of her “rabid fan base” – its just a chic and understated look – and different for her because she usually goes glitzier (also different for Elie Saab – not so sparkly). And the fit is flawless.

Second fave is Nicole Kidman. Overall an underwhelming night though.
