If I place my finger over Lea Michele’s dip dye hair, I would say she looked flawless on the red carpet at the 2013 SAG Awards, held at the Shrine Auditorium in California on Sunday evening.
The ‘Glee’ star wore a vibrant Valentino Resort 2013 strapless gown with bi-colour Jennifer Mayer jewels and Jimmy Choo heels.
I expected her to wear a bold colour, so she didn’t let me down. I was also expecting a thigh-high slit and give us her signature sexy face but she didn’t oblige on that front…thankfully.
You may remember that Freida Pinto wore a red satin version of this gown at the end of last year.

the fit is awkward, should go MTM
I like the color and the fact that she’s not completely hanging out of it but it seems so shapeless. Underwhelming.
+1
She went through all that effort and coming out like this? Not that bad but I the dress is wearing her and it’s not a cute look.
Her hair have seen better days.
the hair is too distracting for me!
Soooooo shapeless!
I think that a belt should improve this dress
Lol, the dip-dye. I feel the same way about that flounce at the bottom of the dress. That aside, the hot pink sure is gorgeous with her coloring. Love the soft makeup. Her earrings make quite the statement as well.
I really liked this look on Michelle until I clicked the link to see how Freida wore her version. Unfortunately for Michelle, I think Freida owned this look.
Love the color, but the dress is shapeless. A belt might have helped. Can’t stand the bleached ends of her hair.
I think this is really pretty on her; Freida’s red version was too shiny. The dress is awesome, and the look would have been one of the best of the night had not her terrible hair nearly ruined the look.
Those ombré hairstyles are always keeping me from loving a look and this is no exception. The gown is beautiful but that’s it.
hair scare!
I really don’t like it. It’s too simple, not in a good way. It’s not flattering to her body, the fabric looks cheap and it’s too… prom-like for this event. She should have gone with something more body-hugging. But she still looks beautiful and comfortable, I love her smile, seriously, makes up for the whole outfit.
Love the colour on her and I too am very glad that there was not a split in sight. However, the fit on the bodice could have been better and I think the gown needed a belt to fight against the shapelessness of the skirt. Aside from the colour of her hair, her hairstyle and makeup is beautiful.
Agree on everything
Barbie dress.
I love this dress, especially the ralaxed ellegance I’m getting from it. She would be one of my favourites but I will never understand who could do something like that to her hair, I mean, she’s L’Oreal girl! Why?!
I was very disappointed to see Lea Michele wearing one of my favorite gowns from the Valentino 2013 Resort collection. As expected she can’t pull this gorgeous piece off. She’s not lean or tall enough and that hideous ombree hair makes things even worse.
I hope I can see it on someone who can make justice to it.
sumptuous
This is a rather mediocre look for me. Her hair only makes things worse.
Boring
