Julianne Moore hit the red carpet Sunday at the 2013 SAG Awards on trend for spring clad in black and white. It’s not far into awards season and this is the second time she’s sported the two-toned look.
The ‘Game Change’ nominee wore Chanel Couture Fall 2011 with a plunging neckline that was balanced out by sweet floral appliqués.
The red carpet pro always looks beautiful: I love how the classic colour combination looked against her red locks, and the silhouette looked lovely on her. Though, I don’t think the neckline was as flattering as her high-neck and high-drama look of the past.
The actress rounded out the style with a Chanel clutch and earrings, bangles and a high-sparkle cocktail ring by Van Cleef & Arpels.

The only thing messing with me is the top. She needs more support. Otherwise, great look and beautiful woman.

Seriously? Are you watching the show? She almost suffered from a wardrobe malfunction when she came on the stage to accept the award. This neckline looks AWFUL on her.
No….they are not showing it in the UK.
Love the black and white, but the SAG jokes write themselves with the lack of bra and the fit around the chest.
Was waiting on a wardrobe malfunction. The neckline is not flattering.
Same
LOL. Sag is appropriate here. She should have worn a dress that let her wear a bra. I’m distracted by the cleavage. That’s all I see when I see her here.
I love it!
The skirt is lovely, so is her hair, the top does bring the look down unfortunately.

I think she is a stunner but she regularly wears pieces that are simply not flattering imo. At least this is a long gown so I do not have to see an ankle strap shoe stumpifying her legs.
Agreed
The dress is lovely but I am sorry she needs support………..a big No for me
The look is totally ruined by the fit at the bust.

Everything looks fine below the waist. She needs to support up top seriously.
Plunging necklines are always tacky and often unflattering…this totally ruins Julianne’s figure. I like the embellishments on the hem but they end up looking stiff. Not a good look.
Oh what a gorgeous skirt! Even her make up is flawless!
But that top is ruining the look completely. ( I am getting a Jessica’s Calvin Klein at Globes vibe from it! )
jessica wasn’t this bad…
love the skirt, hate the top. it doesnt look fitted enough and a wardrobe malfunction is bound to happen. I almost wish the floral pattern would have been on the top part too.
Very disappointing. The top just didn’t fit and was cut in a peculiar fashion that was really unflattering, perhaps that’s why the runway version was covered with a jacket. If the top was a high-necked cutaway style perhaps it would have been much different. Love the skirt but it was so tight she could barely walk up the steps to collect her award. Chanel is so hit and miss for me…
Totally agree about the outfit but I do love her hair, makeup and accessories.
Frankly I found it tasteless. If she wore the jacket I would prefer it.
She found it difficult to walk and climb the stairs in – she looked very awkward. Agree with everyone about the top, very unflattering.
watz with the fit on top???
Love the skirt with the flowers but I think it needed to be a centimetre or two shorter to get the flared effect as seen on the runway. It is a real shame about the fit of the top. Her styling is spot on though, her hair is gorgeous.
The breasts need some help. I like the dress on her.
The jacket would’ve given her a matronly look. So whilst removing it was the right choice keeping that revealing neckline was not. It’s very unflattering to her figure.
The breasts look as natural breasts should do. The problem is the bad fitting of the upper part. I agree with the opinions that she should have worn the jacket.
That plunge is not working, her breasts look awful. The dress is cute, not for her.
Honestly, I won’t blame Julianne Moore’s body for that Chanel mistake.
That dress is simply awful. The cut is atroceous, the fabric doesn’t work with the design and I can’t get over these flowers.
Chanel can make some great stuff, but they are also quite good at making ugly. This simply doesn’t work.
