Amy Poehler stepped up her style once again for the 2013 SAG Awards, hosted this evening at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California. She was nominated for her role in ‘Parks and Recreation,’ and she certainly was stage-ready.
She impressed me as co-host of the 2013 Golden Globe Awards with her Stella McCartney suit, and her black Zuhair Murad gown for the 19th annual Screen Actors Guild event rivaled that red carpet moment.
The subtle sparkle that outlined the bodice of her dress added a flattering shape to the hourglass silhouette, while Forevermark jewels complemented the look.
I would have just swapped out the heavy grey Judith Leiber clutch for something more sleek.
Intentionally or not, she coordinated perfectly with her partner-in-crime Tina Fey, who also chose an elegant black dress. Both of these talented ladies have really put their best stiletto-clad feet forward lately.
Topping it all off, Amy’s blonde hair was styled effortlessly into shoulder-length waves and her petal-pink pout added a touch of sizzle to this old Hollywood glam statement.

It’s not terrible, but the spaghetti-strap look feels dated and a little cheesy.
The lines are flattering to her figure.
I like the soft hair with this dress.
She looks nice.

She didn’t make my best dressed, because it was somewhat forgettable. However, she deserves credit because she looks great!!

I like this much more than her golden globes oxblood dress, which looked a tad matronly on her – it was the length of the sleeves. I maybe even like this a little more then the tuxedo.
The shape of the dress and design of the beading really flatters her shape, and the hair and exposed shoulders give off a more youthful vibe. Nicely done.
This is sweet (minus the clutch).
Amy Poehler is looking amazing this awards season! Her Golden Globes looks as well as this SAG look really were fantastic. I love the bead detail on this dress – really interesting!
She looks sensational and ery sultry! Zuhair Murad is an awesome designer!
