Many of you have struggled to warm to Carly Rae Jepsen’s style, so I’m intrigued to find out what you think of her 2013 NRJ Music Awards look.
The ‘Call Me Maybe’ singer donned a brown satin and suede Izmaylova gown on the red carpet at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France last night.
While brown isn’t my favourite red carpet colour, this has to be the most grown up look we’ve seen from the 27-year-old musician.
A rectangular L.K.Bennett ‘Alexia’ clutch, kohl-rimmed eyes and sleek straight tresses completed her look.

She does look grown up and the colour looks nice on her, but I don’t like this gown.

Oh god that’s soooo UGLY! I dont know if the colour or the dress is worse.
I don’t like this gown on her. I’m just wondering, with her height, hair colour and style, perhaps she might be better off looking at Asian stars for styling inspiration?

Eeeek, I dont’ like this at all.
I don’t like the muddy colour and I think the seams look a little strained. Think it might just be the fabric, I’m not for one moment saying she’s too big for the dress, just don’t think it fits well.

Her hair is marginally better, and I think that chocolate brown goes with her complexion. Yet although I’m glad to see her wearing a more age-appropriate look, this dress is horrendously ugly.
Oh my God no.
This girl looks very unpolished. Not effortless cool or punkish rebellious, but that her clothes look sad, second-hand and downright unflattering. She’s so overrated. And too old to say “call me maybe.”
I agree that she looks grown up and I don’t mind the colour or styling too much, but the dress itself is not good.

i hate it i think it makes her look cheap if she really has the money she blaggs she needs to start showing it then
