Amanda Seyfried In Roland Mouret – 2013 Producers Guild Awards

Amanda Seyfried In Roland Mouret - 2013 Producers Guild Awards

Amanda Seyfried didn’t get the black memo prior to taking to the red carpet at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in California last night, for the 2013 Producers Guild Awards.

The ‘Les Mis’ actress wore a brightly coloured Roland Mouret ‘Fairlea’ orange halter dress from the Resort 2013 collection.

Her chevron silk dress with a draped neckline and criss-cross open back featured a thin black waistband for a striking contrast, which complemented her black suede Jimmy Choo ‘Kalpa’ ankle-strap sandals and a black Jimmy Choo box clutch.

A sleek straight center-parted hairdo, dazzling Cathy Waterman 22k recycled Gold, ethically sourced fire opal and diamond arabesque earrings completed her look.

Wow she’s lost too much weight… but looking at all the pics from this event, I think it was mandatory for everyone to wear black!

She looks great IMO. That shade of orange is divine. Just the creases on the skirt are a bit distracting.

Love on the model, who has a beautiful silhouette in this dress. Seyfried, not so much.

I think this is a no. She looks so sloppy compared to the model. Also it looks like that the dress is too big for her thus making it look ill-fitting.

Agree with you. But she’s not the only one here who needs to have her dress tailored to her figure. I wouldn’t think the designers would want their clothing to look so ill-fitted at a Hollywood event!! What about the actresses stylists, agents and/or PR people—don’t they care?

    Lovely colour!

The dress looks much better on the model. The fit is sloppy on Amanda.

Looks more interesting from the back. But I actually prefer it on her than the silhouette on the model.

The draping is somehow wrong on Amanda S.. I prefer the dress on the model. The color is great though!!!

ITA. This is very lackluster on Ms. Seyfried. The bodice is reminiscent of one of those backless cowl tops we’d wear clubbing c. 2004.

Love her and hair and makeup. No so much the dress.

orange is damn hard to wear.

I think this is her best look in a long time. Bright, fresh, fun. I wish the skirt was more like the model’s though.

Wow, they did nothing to tailor/fit the dress to her. It looks completely different from the model shot, not in a good way.

love the color and the back. but the way amanda is wearing it just seems so sloppy.

      I agree.

Sunshine on a (mostly black) red carpet…

Absolutely loved this on the model but it hasn’t translated well on Amanda. I think the skirt needed to be better fitted and a bit shorter. Great colour though!

I had to say something about this dress, from the left to the right… I dont know if this is even made by the same company if it is shame on them. The tailoring is awful, look at the hem, it is puckered, not to mention the two seams on the left that seam to make this dress go “wow” dont even seam to be present on the right. Disaster!
