Huo Si Yan was the first to wear this gorgeous floral Dolce & Gabbana gown to the 2nd Beijing Film Festival held in China back in April.
Her gown was accented with a velvet bejewelled waistband to add a touch of pizzazz to the look so she didn’t go overboard with the accessories, keeping the styling of her hair and makeup minimal.
A gimmick-free Katy Perry wore the same gown back in November to the Dream Foundation’s 11th annual Celebration of Dreams.
I love the overall glamorous feel to her look, with her raven hair loose around her shoulders and those stunning emerald earrings which complement the colourful gown exquisitely.
Based on those earrings alone, Katy wins for me.

Much better with Huo’s skin tone, I think. Katy’s orange makes the neutrals look muddy.
This is the best i have ever seen Katy looking, love it!
I like it on both women but agree that Katy Perry has a slight edge here. Huo looks more elegant but Katy’s earrings and blue eyes add a sparkle that perfectly complements the gown.
Huo let the dress speak for itself so she gets my vote.
The delicate romantic dress works a bit better on Huo’s delicate figure and against her skin tone, and I much prefer Huo’s styling that allows to keep focus on beautiful print and the statement belt. I like that she kept the light romantic feel of the look instead of weighing it down with glamour, she got it right imo, and wins easily for me.
I like it better on Huo’s skintone, also, I like her updo. Katy does look nice, though.
