Despite not being seen front row at any couture shows in Paris this week, Fan BingBing attended the Sidaction Gala Dinner 2013 held at the Pavillon d’Armenonville in Paris yesterday evening, which was also attended by Leelee Sobieski.
The Asian beauty stepped out of the chequered box to be original and selected a solid piece from the Louis Vuitton Spring 2013 collection.
Her shimmering bright-yellow long-sleeved floor-length dress with pocket detailing on both sides was styled with an LV white minaudière with gold detailing, including a tassel accent.
With her hair styled in a centre parting and swept behind her ears, she completed her look with long diamond-encrusted earrings.
Thank god for Bingbing – the Louis Vuitton Spring 2013 collection was swiftly becoming one-note.

This is one of my favorite looks from her. It is not her typical quirky look or her typical princess look. This is not over the top. I love the simplicity of it. BDOTW worthy IMO.

One of her best looks in a long while. No over accessorising, the colour looks great on her as is the fit and the simple hairstyle was a great choice. Definitely BDOTW worthy.
Totally agree. A very pleasant surprise. I like the dress, maybe the one one of that collection with a success I still don’t understand. And she made it work keeping the accessories to the minimum, thank God. I cross the fingers and hope she keeps this trend and doesn’t come back to “things” like she did with Stéphane Rolland, Shoji or the same Vuitton last year.

Fan is now LV’s brand ambassador for Asia. She will be in LV’s new Ad campaign in Spring. We’ll sure see more LV and her in the events to come. =P

Fan tries her best with her lovely styling, and I thank her for not wearing those hideous checks, but this dress is still pretty heinous. Day-glo yellow with those POCKETS. I’m dying.
