Kate Bosworth and fiancé Michael Polish are still at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival promoting their latest movie, ‘Big Sur’.
Yesterday evening, Calvin Klein hosted an intimate dinner party at the Tavern in Park City, Utah to celebrate the movie, which was followed by the film’s premiere.
The actress was of course decked out head-to-toe in Calvin Klein with pieces from the Pre-Fall 2013 collection.
Making the runway look her own, Kate wore the toffee shaved shearling sleeveless top over the white sleeveless turtleneck plus the toffee vinyl skirt, but she added an ivory belt and white Calvin Klein booties to her look.
Keeping her hair slicked back into a tight ponytail, she completed the look with a stringary box clutch and a glossy coral lip colour.
At times I wonder what the fuss is regarding Kate’s style. But moments like this I get it. She looks so refined and elegant, yet current with an edge whilst still maintaining the Calvin Klein minimalist ethos.
The only trouble is, I will wake up screaming thinking about those boots as I sleep tonight.

I wish she had not made the runway look her own.
I wish she had stayed with the runway colors, especially the belt.
Then she might have resisted the temptation to wear white boots.
Hate those booties!!! This could have been a great look if not for those horrendous things, they ruin the whole look for me.

Are you kidding? This look is TERRIBLE! The white belt and boots are hideous, and she looks even more ridiculous considering she’s at Sundance where everyone wears sweaters and jeans. Possibly one of the worst oufits I’ve ever seen.

I was scrolling down the page here and was pleasantly surprised with this look as the scroll revealed this ensemble… until I hit her lower-calf and those glaring white boots. Talk about a buzz kill. Yikes.

Those white booties are the stuff of nightmares. If I saw them somewhere separately I’d be like HELL NO. BUT they actually work with this outfit as a whole, I have to say. That’s what I love about fashion.
Everyone will be talking about the really ugly boots, so that was probably the point. She does look out of place for the event, but I don’t think she cares. Half the time I don’t think she has a style, she just wears the most current thing available and tries to make a splash. Hopefully the film she’s in gets a couple of mentions, and not just the boots.
She totally made it her own, the overall look works.
Oh she really pulls this off! So good… I actually really like the boots with it… Or maybe it is the white colour… I would have preferred something along the lines of the white shoes jil sander had a while back … Not a fan of the platform on these… But overall thumbs up

Guess it is just me, but I can’t help thinking that she spilled something down her front. Somehow it works in the darker color, but not on Kate. Much prefer the runway look.

They are the worst shoes I have seen in a very looooong time. The rest of the look isn’t great either.
At first, I hated this. But the more I look at it, the more I like it. I think she was right to add the more polished white accessories to the runway look. She looks awesome.
She is head to toe pulling this off. The boots are dreadful by themselves but work well in the context of the look. I get a very mod ’60s feel.
