Michelle Obama and her daughters Sasha and Malia attended the 2013 Kids’ Inaugural Concert on Saturday evening, held at the Washington Convention Center to celebrate military families prior to the second inauguration of U.S. President Barack Obama.
The First Lady kept her look fairly simple, wearing black fitted pants and a white Alexander McQueen Victorian bustle piquet shirt from the Resort 2011 collection, which she styled with a fabulous bejewelled belt and her favourite kitten heels in red.
Newly-cut bangs and a pink lip shade completed the look.
You may remember that Mrs O first wore this Alexander McQueen white shirt back in May of 2011.

Much as I love FLOTUS, the bangs aren’t working IMO…

The bangs look great; you just need to embrace the change. The cut youngs her up. It’s fresh
She looks great and I am loving that they do a Kid’s Inaugural Concert, so cool.
Love her, but I also think the bangs are not working. The shirt is great, love how she can be unique yet having protocols affecting her fashion choices.
+1
I see what she’s doing here. repeating style choices leading up to the big event.
The haircut is terrible
I agree with the comments, the haircut isn’t really working here. This look is nice, but I prefer the blouse with the belt she had worn in 2011.
I like the belt, but not with this shirt which looks frumpy and overwhelming. This look doesn’t work for me, and I’m not overly fond of the bangs, either.
I love how her repeats manage to feel fresh even though I remembered instantly her wearing it the first occasion.

I can’t wait to see what Mrs. O wears to the Inaugural Ball tonight.
