Kate Mara attended the red carpet premiere for the launch of the Netflix Original Series ‘House of Cards’ in London yesterday evening.
The red-haired actress wore a bright-yellow Christian Dior Spring 2013 dress, which has a longer asymmetrical hemline to the version which took to the runway and a cut-out back.
Even though her sleeveless dress was vibrant enough to carry itself, she added a selection of interesting accessories which elevated the look further.
Champagne-coloured Giuseppe Zanotti peep-toe slingbacks, a Gilan ring, Plukka necklace, and a lavender Nancy Gonzalez Crocodile box clutch plus flawless makeup made this look a BDOTW-worthy contender.

Impeccable styling: that necklace brings it all together. Luv this.
Love this from head to toe!!
Absolutely, its BDOTW look!
LOVE this look! It’s flawless from head-to-toe. I especially love the addition of the necklace. Definitely a BDOTW contender.
I think this looks like it’s been styled sloppily, dislike the shoes and think the fit of the dress is off, but that’s just my personal opinion.
Agreed! She looks gorgeous and i love the dress!
Totally agreed. A worthy contender for BDOTW.
Finally someone who looks good in the new collection
Even though I’m not very fond of the shoes nor the lavender clutch, I do agree it’s BDOTW worthy. The dress, the jewelry, the hair and makeup, all incredibly gorgeous and flawless. Even with the horrible shoes she looks divine!
The dress itself is not the most flattering one, but the colour and expecially the styling are great.
This is a rare case of a so so dress lifted up by the styling.
Awful styling. Ruins the minimalist vibe of the dress. Hideous shoes, pointless necklace. The clutch is fine. Rooney Mara, she is not.
Yes, the shoes are awful and I agree the beauty of this dress lies in its minimal aesthetic. These pieces do nothing to celebrate this.
I like the clutch, but the necklace doesn’t add interest and the shoes definitely bring down this look for me. Take off the necklace and put it with Thandie Newton’s lavender sandals from last week and it’s a winner.
Lengthening the dress and choosing it in this great marigold color was the making of it. LOVE this look–totally BDOTW worthy, from the necklace to the clutch to the hair and makeup. My only wish is for a beautiful lilac sandal, which as Brooke said could have been the same as Thandie Newton’s last week.
Everything is perfect except for the shoes:UGH
I like that she has developed the cleanliness of her sister, but maintained her colourful side.
Nice but not liking the shoes. A nice and simple look.
The yellow version is much more stunninng. I’d love to have the clutch too. Adding a pair of shoes from the Dior collection would have made this look more awesome.
I absolutely love the colour and cut of this dress, but the shoes make her legs look stubby and cheapen the look somewhat.
i would have loved to see a pair of Dior pumps or Louboutin Pigalles to finish the look.
IMO only really dark skinned people can pull off this color.
