Zhang Ziyi attended the 2013 Sina Weibo Awards held at the China World Trade Center Tower 3 in Beijing, China on Monday evening.
The actress wore a simple white Fendi gown with an open back for the occasion.
While I like the decorative beaded Fendi baguette, the crystal-embellished Christian Louboutin ‘Decora’ platform pumps bring down everything good about this look.
The gown is just OK: it’s far from being up to Ziyi’s usual best. The shoes kill the look for me.

She looks gorgeous as always, but true about the shoe choice.
I had to zoom and recheck if I am actually seeing those pumps under that sophisticated dress.
I kind of like the clutch, and neck-up she looks good, but that’s it. She can do MUCH better.
Nope not liking this look.
+1. Don’t like the baggy, lifeless dress, shoes or bag. This is her worst look.
+2, what on earth was she thinking with those shoes!
Sad–looks like she has concrete blocks on her feet.
I WANT TO BURN THOSE SHOES. I love her clutch, Vogue actually featured it in its gift guide from the December issue and I tore out that page to put on my wall
I like the dress’s clean-cut sleekness but something looks off. It might be the not-quite-column, not-quite-loose fit.
She needed a simple complementary elegant shoe, hers are killing the elegance of the look and competing with the clutch.
actually the clutch, while an interesting addition, should’ve been more elegant for this look too.
Her shoes scare me. It’s like there’s a monster under the bed!
Those shoes are just awful.
Another body skimming, less structured dress, which I am developing a taste for. The darts at the waist and the silky fluidity keep it from being shapeless. Love the way it cascades down until — thud, those clunky misbegotten shoes. When will she discover non-platform heels? Hem the dress instead (although maybe she can’t if it’s a loaner).
I only like the bag. Them shoes are horrendous.
If I hadn’t seen the shoes I would have really liked this look, she looks elegant but relaxed in the purposely slightly loose fit of the gown. Gives it a kind of minimalist vibe. The heavy dark shoes are horrible and so wrong with the dress.
