Gemma Arterton turned things up several notches for the ‘Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters’ Mexico premiere last week.
Opting for sheer and sexy, the British actress donned a Nina Ricci Spring 2013 gown.
The polka-dot-printed frock, with a thigh-high slit, fishnet underlay and ruched detailing, was a good idea in theory but fails to showcase Gemma’s gorgeous figure in all its splendid glory – plus, I’m instantly drawn to her Bridget-Jones-esque panties.
On the plus side, her hair and makeup are flawless.
Ankle-strap pumps completed her look.
Yay or nay?

Nay. The gown is simply not working for her, and her hair shoud’ve been in an elegant updo.
Not a bad look. Hair looks great. Something about this isn’t wowing me.
A big nay. The thigh area is quite unflattering. I was realizing on the last Gemma post that I fail to see the allure in her. I have yet to be wowed in any memory of her.
As an avowed hater of 1) sheer skirts 2) thigh-high slits and 3) exposed panties, I really dislike this look. I do love polka dots, and I like it waist-up on the model, but the whole thing is a mess on Gemma . Her hair is in her face too.
No. Just no. That dress is not working on her.
I love her curves, but this dress is grabbing her thighs in the worst way.
yay. I think she looks nice
Nay on the gown, it looks so tacky. Yay on her hair and makeup.
This is not a good look.
I would’ve liked this if it were fully lined.
Beautiful woman/ugly dress syndrome. Too fussy and I dislike spots and dots anyways.
I actually like the gown itself in theory; however, I think one of the issues (besides what has already been mentioned here) is that Gemma does not possess the necessary attitude to truly pull off this look.
This is Jessica Rabbit gone brunette and wrong. Nay.
Nay! Loved the dress on the runway but it did not transfer well at all. Her hair and makeup is lovely.
