Shocked that you’re saying Eva was desperate. It’s Pucci and she has an amazing body and has always been into fashion. I think she looks great.
I think she looks great too but there’s a limit to how much skin you can show and still be classy! In any given photo you could see both Eva’s legs and lots of chest, as well as her back! The look would be more suited for the grammys.
I generally agree with the skin ratio, but I think with her height she can get away with it.
the slit to her crotch screams desperation. Add that a nip slip later in the night & she wins the award

Totally agree with your list! So may people gave Angelina crap for her leg pose but at least her dress looked 100x better than Halle’s. That dress takes me back like 10 years… so bad.
Good to know that my favorite of the event – Emily Blunt in Micheal Kors turned out to be FC’s favorite too!

Was so disappointed with Halle Berry. Can remember a time, when she should consistently be the best-dressed.
Can’t believe how much I liked Megan Fox. And how did Amy Poehler manage to pull of those crop pants and high heels without looking stumped is beyond me.
I really don’t agree on your judgement about this dresses, Taylor Swift looks old , the dress is overwhelming her.The best here is Emily Blunt , for the rest im quiet disppointed this year, i save just few of them.

But a big disagree on: Best dressed Nicole Richie. Really??? for me it was in worst dressed

I agree with most of your awards. Can I add that Eva Longoria looks quite desperate and also older than she is? I don’t understand why she keeps on choosing those ugly hairdos (she’s short, we all know that) and that heavy eye make up.

My best over 40 was Sally Field, I thought she was so elegant and beautiful and my best dressed male was Hugh Jackman. Absolutely agree with all the others. The best dressed ladies were all so fantastic! I too was very much disappointed with Halle, Eva and Jessica. Unfortunately they all made my worst dressed list.
Ok I am shocked that Amy Adams was in the best dressed category,honestly for me it was kinda boring.Plus she couldn’t walk comfortably in it.
I think that Jessica Chastain looked luvly,I think the dress just doesn’t photogrpah well that’s all.
My best dressed was Naomi Watts and I think the deja vu award should have also gone to Zooey Deschanel;always looks the same.
best mcQueen should go to Kate Hudson. i don’t quite understand the best dressed either….

Yes! Loved Kate Hudson’s McQueen.
Yeah i preferred kate Hudsons dress over nic’s too. In fact she was almost my best for the night as I was blown awaay when she came on stage. However emily, nicole amy and megan are all up there in the best dressed. Also FC i still dont understand how your didnt like Michelles emmy dress and I think at the globes she was very adventurous and the dress and styling suited her very well.

I agree with all your choices except I would have swapped Nicole R. for Naomi Watts in the best dressed category.
Also would have added Jennifer Lopez to the most desperate to be noticed award-she’s always working the nude-illusion thing.

I’m very surprised that you gave Amy Adams (Joint) Best-Dressed. Her dress feels like something we’ve seen a million times before. The blush color, the strapless mermaid silhouette are all familiar. I agree with pretty much everything else except for Best Couture. That belonged to Jennifer Lawrence IMO, her dress was eye-catching, youthful, and chic. I think Anne’s is a bit lackluster.
I don’t see why you are surprised as we all have different tastes.
We all can’t like the same dress. For example I didn’t like Jennifer’s crumb catcher dress and you are saying that it was the best couture gown of the night.
I know some pleople don’t like Taylor, but I really think she’s maturing before our eyes. Her red carpet appearances are much better now and I LOVE this dress. The color is so amazing and the back is very sexy. Love her make up and hair too!
The “Best over 40 award” should be “Best over 50 award”. Nicole Kidman, JLo, Halle Berry, and Julianna Margulies are all over 40.

Lucy Liu was the “WOW” moment of the entire weekend for me.
And sorry, but I’m never a fan of Amy’s looks these days. That neutral gown she wore was so blah.

As to me, I do agree with a lot of your picks. Michelle Dockery was my best dressed because of how different it was from the Emmy’s. But Emily Blunt was my second pick. Eva and Hallie were definitely wanting to be noticed

The 3 “best dressed” werent even in my top 10 list
I hated Taylor Swift’s dress. The shape looks good from the back, but this looks like a cheap prom dress with a train. I’m so glad though she’s done something new with her hair.
I’m surprised Naomi’s dress wasn’t on the list. Maybe for best train? It was dramatic and the color was great. Definitely in the top 3 for me, possibly #1.
As much as I liked Nicole Richie’s dress, her eye makeup was so distracting, that the entire look was downgraded a lot for me.
While Amy looks cute her look wasn’t memorable. And my fave McQueen has to be Kate Hudson.
Halle’s award is on point. Her dress screams attention seeking. And Megan was indeed a bomb.
Helen Mirren’s body is sick.
