Hanging up her boho clobber for the night, Vanessa Hudgens opted for a super-glossy, uber-glam look for the Warner Bros. and InStyle Golden Globe Awards After Party hosted at the Beverly Hills Hotel in LA on Sunday evening.
The actress wore a Jenny Packham black sequin long-sleeve v-neck gown with gold embellished shoulders.
One would assume someone like Vanessa wouldn’t be able to carry such an ornate gown, but she does so with great aplomb.
A wavy updo, striking earrings and a Daniel Swarovski gold snakeskin ‘Dedicace’ clutch with crystal clasp completed her look.

I don’t know. I’m not sure how well she is carrying it off, to be honest. I’m just not blown away, despite how gorgeous the gown is.

I absolutely adore this dress on her! Stunning, her best look in a long time…. Not a big fan of the earrings, though, everything apart from that is absolute perfection…. I’m officially obsessed and hoping that Vanessa continues to dress along this lines.

Kudos to her for working this daring look with confidence but, on the other hand, I don’t think I like the look itself – it’s a bit too ornate and heavy, and a bit too open in the chest area.

Oh…in early photos I borderline HATED this.
But wow i guess you should never trust Twitter pictures I LOVE this.
It could have been better and I’m getting a sense of de ja vu with the deep chest a la Temperly London in Venice but I actually like it. There were some photos where her posing didn;t make the dress look right but in this one she really does carry it!
I could do with out the earrings but I love the clutch and the shoulder detail. The hair is a tiny bit too messy for my liking and I’m waiting for her to get rid of the extensions and the messy bun on red carpets but it’s definitely a step in the right direction.
Remember in 08-10 when Vanessa was the best dressed young celeb on this site? Let’s bring that back Vanessa! She was even one of Peoples 10 Best Dressed I’m just waiting for her to get back to her stylish boho/glam ways as opposed to the sloppy try hard boho ways. Hopefully this year will bring that change
Oh my god. I love this, who wouldve thought Vanessa Hudgens would be able to carry this but wow it’s perfection and I agree I haven’t been a fan of her style since 09/10. Good job Nessa.
I love the dress it self, but I don’t like the styling. The hair is too messy and I don’t like the earrings.

I don’t like the plunging neckline or the slinky silhouette…so since I’m not a fan of the gown her wearing it doesn’t move me.
tacky, shame really she is a beautiful girl but her style is either hobo chic or tacky porn star.
How is it tacky when EVERYONE is doing a plunging neckline?
I’m not blown away by it but I do like it and I don’t see tacky. Her arms are covered everything is covered except her chest which is the same thing several people including Taylor and Selena and a bunch if other stars at this event did.
Yet they weren’t called tacky were they.
Other than the messy bun I could do without the huge earrings but I don’t get tacky. I do get someone judging her and only her despite the several other people who wear plunging necklines and don’t get called tacky. I thought we were supposed to focus on fashion here but I see more and more celebs being attacked personally on each post

Vanessa looks good but when I saw on twitter that she was wearing a Jenny Packham’s dress , I admit that I expected more from her.
Anyway, she looks beautiful and I love her earrings.
