Michelle Monaghan came out with gown blazing at the Warner Bros. and InStyle Golden Globe Awards After Party at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California on Sunday evening.
The actress took her red-carpet entrance seriously with a Vera Wang sleeveless, chartreuse design featuring a cutout detail at the bodice and trapunto stitch accents.
Her clutch matched the slinky dress perfectly, while her coral-red lip and manicure popped against the brilliant yellow-green color.
With its halter neck, the DayGlo-like hue and that peephole at the bust, I couldn’t help but be reminded of Jena Malone’s Cushnie et Ochs after-party dress.

I don’t like the peephole, but otherwise this is nice. It’s a hard color to wear and but she’s made it work.
Agree to everything. it would have worked but for the tacky and awkward keyhole. Why is this a trend?

Vibrant standout colour, her styling is very lovely – the clutch is perfectly complementary, the subtle jewels do not overpower the look, her hair is pretty and touches of coral are delightful. However, I don’t like how her body proportions look in this gown – the cut makes her torso look a bit too long in relation to her lower body, and the keyhole deatil does look more like a tear.

Gorgeous! Fabulous vibrant chartreuse that pairs perfectly with her hair color and the coral lip is icing on the cake. The dress also fits her to a T!

I hate to be the voice of dissent but….I don’t like that colour against her pale skin. It looks really harsh (writing from the p.o.v of someone with paler skin than that!) And the mid section of the dress reminds me of that awful belt Mariah Carey wore a few weeks back with that chequered dress…I don’t think this is great.
I agree with you, Andrea. (uber-pales represent!) Its just so incredibly bright, it needs something to break it up a bit.
Maybe without the keyhole, a more open neckline, and some amethyst statement jewelry and clutch?

Filling in the keyhole is only thing I’d change here. The coral lips and nails look great with chartreuse of the dress.
