Still glowing from her magnificent promo tour for ‘Django Unchained’, Kerry Washington took to the red carpet at the Beverly Hilton Hotel for the 2013 Golden Globe Awards last night.
Decked out in a rhinestone-embellished semi-sheer nude Miu Miu dress, she proved that she’s very much on a roll.
Opting not to go the frothy princess route, her modern look with a sleek silhouette was styled with nude Prada pointy pumps, a satin Prada clutch and a diamond Fred Leighton bracelet.
Flawless makeup and a shoulder-length lightly highlighted ‘do completed her look.

I love the dress but her hair looked quite bad :/
Ya know, I didn’t think I liked this when I saw it during the pre-show red carpet. But, I stand corrected. This is really refreshing.
I like this but I think she should have worn sandals.
This is probably my favorite look of the night. It’s edgy but effortless, different but not Gaga, the rhinestone embellishments make it look so glamorous without going too princess-y, the sheerness of the dress makes it sexy, without being vulgar. Just the right amount of everything. I love it. Classy and refreshing.
This was one of my favorites too. Different, classy,and very sophisticated. I love her hair and makeup–they are perfect for this impressive look.

This is my favourite nude look of the night – it is not trying to be princessy and is very modern in comparison to many of the other dresses. I like this on her and is another example of her versatility.
No from me. The shape of the dress doesn’t flatter her and though I like the embellishments the sheer skirt trend needs to end.

After Jessica Chastain’s outfit, this was my second biggest disappointment.
Unlike Jessica, Kerry didn’t look bad per se. The dress is nice enough. But I was expecting way more.
When I saw this, I immediately thought Prada based on the awkward hem length.
Nice, lovely, but doesn’t excite enough.
