You couldn’t help but be enchanted by Amy Adams as she took to the red carpet at the 2013 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday evening.
The actress dazzled wearing a nude Marchesa gown. The first Marches gown to hit the red carpet in 2013.
We have seen this mermaid silhouette a few times on the red carpet, but the lace body and layers of tulle below the knee give the look a fresh twist.
Amy completed the look with retro waves, stunning Tiffany & Co. jewels and a pretty pink lip colour.

How to Achieve the Classic Blowout
The best nude look at this event. The gown is beautiful (I don’t think that it washes her out) and I’m loving her hair.
+1, best blush pink of the night — athough I also enjoyed Hayden “California Breezin” Panettiere and Megan “Stone Cold” Fox. Here is elegant sophistication. Amy Adams has really been quietly impressing me so far this awards season.
She was one of my least favourites of the night, that colour does her no favours at all!

I don’t like nude dresses, mermaid dresses, lace as it’s been worn nowdays, sequins, beads or tulle. It’a almost everything I dislike in one piece.

I love the mermaid twist at the bottom, love her neck up too and those earings are gorgeous, but I guess its totally washing her out in the bodice.

It is a pretty safe silhouette… but she looks amazing. Her hair and make up were perfection too… one of my favs of the night!

I think she looks lovely, but I’m so tired of nude. So much so that I even get excited when someone wears black. It’s getting to be so boring!
On television, this dress photographed really well. I really liked when she told Ryan that the color was “ballet pink” not nude.
Where is the dress ?? I can’t see it, it fully disappears, way too pale and washed out.
..but the styling and overall feel of the look are enchanting indeed. So it’s still thumbs up from me.

I usually don’t like fishtail or nude gowns, but Amy looks very charming and romantic in this gown. The detailing on the bodice stunning.
