The statuesque Nicole Kidman attended a sportier event yesterday, when she showed up for Gold Meets Golden at the new Equinox Flagship in Los Angeles, California.
The actress used her height to carry off a creamy Oscar de la Renta suit paired with colorful Nicholas Kirkwood shoes.
The jacket lost some of its sultry runway appeal since Nicole opted to wear a gold striped shirt to offset the more revealing, plunging neckline.
The swept-back style of her flame-red hair and her bright fuchsia lip were a bit severe for this structured look, although her Cathy Waterman gemstone earrings were a pretty addition.

The shoes and shirt doesn’t go with the suit. And the fit of the suit is off, looks like the pants have shrunk in the wash.
I like her interpretation, I think she put it together well for her, the suit looks fantastic on her, kudos for inspiring shoe choice.

The shoes are freaking me out (it looks like her feet are bruised) and the hair is appalling.
This is wrong on so many levels. Really. Just looking at it is depressing. It’s just plain ugly (colours, shirt, hairstyle, makeup).

Like someone else said, the shoes make her feet look bruised. Not my favorite pair of Kirkwoods. The suit itself suits (haha) her much better than the Saab, but the pinstriped shirt wasn’t the right choice (she should have gone with one that matched the suit. Also, the hair is aging her.
