Halle Berry sported a refreshing new silhouette on the red carpet last night at the Warner Theatre for the BET Honors 2013 in Washington, DC.
Shunning her favoured tight-fitted, cleavage baring LBDs, she wore a striking Monique Lhuillier Fall 2012 gown.
Her strapless chiffon frock with a fiery lave print featured a side slit, which the actress made full use of.
Brian Atwood gold ‘Rizzo’ sandals, a gold cuff and drop earrings completed her look.
Do you like that Halle switched things up, or with that hairstyle will she always give you a feeling of groundhog day?

Groundhog day. Even though the gown looks nice on her, I’m bored.
+1 she’s done similar silhouettes before and its still cleavage baring

I agree. I want her to try something different.
I remember a few years ago Elie Saab doing a series of dresses that looked just like this one in his couture line – Saab’s version was better
Beyond perfect, she is beyond perfect!
She looks gorgeous! Love Halle.
More of the same. Cleavage and legs.
She looks absolutely stunning. Sexy, stylish and effortless. Love everything about this look.
I’m just happy to not see her in the same little black dress. She looks good!
That’s my mantra too.
I agree completely!
While I love the dress, I don’t like Halle Berry as a person at all. Had I known she was going to be in my city, I would have gone down to The Warner Theatre to yell at her.
She looks good. Glad to see her wearing something other than LBD.
Well she looks good but it is pretty much the same idea behind it: cleavage and slits.
She should go back to wearing Elie Saab…..
+1
But please stay away from Elie Saab, Halle’s cleavage and slit-must-have will ruin his wonderful art pieces.
Hold on there. Halle Berry won her Oscar in a magnificent Elie Saab to which she did more than justice. The fashion cognoscenti may have known who he was but I most certainly didn’t. So Halle Berry introduced me to Saab in a big, beautiful and utterly unforgettable way.
boring, boring, boring, just boring
Love, this is my favorite dress of the entire season. Couldn’t think of a better person to wear it.
It may be a style repeat, but she looks awesome. She is incredibly beautiful.
She ruins a great dress…
she looks perfect
This is one of my favorite dresses EVER and I’ve been dying to see it on the red carpet. But, sadly, Halle doesn’t do it justice. I can only hope someone else will get to wear it.
As for her hairstyle, I don’t know. It’s become such a huge part of who she is that I don’t even remember how she looks like with longer hair. In a way, it works for her because it’s truthful to her personality, but it’s getting increasingly boring with the passing years.
I’m not a big fan of the neckline but I think Halle looks nice.
I waited so long for her to go back to short hair, I will never complain about it lol.
High slit. Revealing neckline. Nothing new from Halle. Yes, the fabric is gorgeous but this look reads tacky to me–even on the model, and DEFINITELY on Halle. Of course she’s gorgeous, but the overt nature of this look exploits rather than flatters that.
Totally agree. Groundhog day indeed. I’m still waiting to see Halle switching things up but I won’t hold my breath.
this colors print not good on her
