‘Revenge’ star Ashley Madekwe stunned on the red carpet at the 2013 Art of Elysium Heaven Gala, held at 2nd Street Tunnel in California yesterday evening.
The actress wore a dazzling backless Naeem Khan Fall 2012 sterling silver paillette long-sleeve gown.
As much as I love her sparkly dress, I’m not so crazy about her hairstyle. The overall look would’ve been chicer without the bangs.
A dark red lip, a silver Judith Leiber clutch and Sorellina jewels completed her look.

I don’t think she has the presence to carry off this striking bold look, not a fan of the hair either.
ITA!!!! Plus, I don’t get her appeal, she is always lackluster on the rc. Where the hell is Emily Thorne when we need her???
I imagin Emily Thorne is back in the fictional work of Revenge….
Clearly you’re projecting your dislike for the character she plays she looks pretty hot on the red carpet IMO- certainly more interesting than Emily van camp.
I love it. She looks gorgeous.
I like this. I think the hair is OK and the dark lip is amazing with this look.
I like this too.
best she’s looked for me
I prefer dark lipstick on fuller lips.
Interesting dress though.
I like it from the neck down. Her hair doesn’t bother me much, although it could have been styled better; the dark-lip-trend-that-just-needs-to-go-away is what brings this look down, IMO.
I like the dress from the front (not a fan of backless) but it is a bit too heavy and hard to pull off for Ashley. Also, the strangely flat hair and overpowering dark lip don’t help at all.
i like the dress and i like the hair
It’s an beautiful gown and I love how Ashley styled it to really work it and look amazing.
This dress is AMAZING!! In saying that though, Ashley hasn’t brought the presence and attitude to really pull off this gown and I agree that the hair isn’t the best.
