Amber Heard joined a host of lovely ladies on the red carpet last night, for the 2013 Art of Elysium ‘Heaven’ Gala, held at 2nd Street Tunnel in California.
When I attended this event last year, I tripped over my jaw as Amber made her way into the venue wearing a Donna Karan gown.
She went from uber sexy in 2012, to subtle in 2013 wearing a Valentino Spring 2013 dress.
I’m sure you all imagined someone like Keira Knightley wearing this wish flower print chiffon long-sleeve embroidered gown featuring lace inserts and a rounded collar, but it’s a refreshing change of pace for Amber.
Her sexiness still manages to shine through, but in a less in-ya-face way.

Confusing.
I really love this but I wouldn’t on anyone else. It just works for Amber. It kind of drags her down but I’m past that. It would be perfect if it was sleeveless imo but anyhow. Great look
This is something entirely different for Amber, and I think she carries off this more demure look quite charmingly, but it’s not something that would excite, I remember how impressive she looked last year at this event.
After last year I am very disappointed in this! The dress is fine, the hair I love, but the make up is very “drag queen”! Last year her ethereal dress was one of my BDOTY and this barely gets a pass from me!

I’m on the fence on this one. I love Amber and her sense of style, but something is off her and I don’t know exactly what. I don’t think the relaxed and nature vibe of the gown suits her vaporous and incandescent persona. Besides that, the edgy hair and heavy makeup do not help either.

I appreciate the variety of looks. But it looks like Amber is struggling to tone down her sexiness lol. I also prefer her in blonde, it softens her features.

Perhaps a touch mumsy, as she doesn’t have Keira’s presence. But it’s so very refreshing, and it is a beautiful dress–thumbs-up from me!
I really enjoy bombshell Amber (her Donna Karan look at last year’s gala was on my BDOTY list) but I like that she switched things up. She looks elegant though I wish she were less tanned.

Imagine if it were 2 pieces instead of a dress. If she lost the skirt and tucked the shirt into a black pencil skirt instead we would have perfection.
I’m really not sure about this look. The dress is great and fits her perfectly. I think it looks good on her but I don’t think the hair is working here. Not as good as last year.
