Chinese actress Zhang Xinyi attended the Sohu Fashion Achievement Awards at the China World Hotel Beijing in Beijing, China.
Donning a casual look from Diane von Furstenberg’s Spring 2013 collection, she went all-white in a billowy top with keyhole detail and a slim trouser.
However, there wasn’t much notable achievement in this ensemble. Rather than translate as sleek and sophisticated as it did on the runway, the outfit fell flat.
The sleeves lost some of their cool volume, and her pants were too baggy, too long and ill-fitting. A blue shoulder handbag interfered even more with the lines of this look.

I’m mostly perturbed by the hair- it looks like a bad wig. I like the sandals though.
The pants are awfully ill-fitting, indeed, if she couldn’t get them modified/adjusted, then maybe she shoud’ve stayed away from this ensemble to begin with b/c this doesn’t cut it, horrible.
This could have been a winner look if the pants weren’t so ill fitted. The hair isn’t so good, either. I do like her shoes.
Don’t like the dated outfit to start with, and it’s too flouncy/poorly fitted on Zhang Xinyi. Also her hair…hmmm. Not liking it. The shoes are Ok.
It is a no from me. This look needed a whole lot of tailoring. I don’t think Zhang’s hair is doing her any favours either.
She didn’t pull this off.
The outfit looks so sleek and classy on the model ,it didn’t transfer at all on Zhang unfortunately
