Eva Longoria frequently favors Monique Lhuillier to outfit her dazzling red-carpet entrances, and the 2013 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California was no exception.
Last night, the actress was the ultimate glamour gal in a fuchsia hourglass gown from the designer’s Spring 2013 collection. The sultriness of this high-neck design was flaunted through its figure-hugging silhouette, a long flowing train and in the piped mini-ruffle detail that shaped the dress.
Because Eva is so petite, the gown did appear much longer on her than on the runway model. But she still carried it well.
She did leave the raspberry to just the dress, going for a jet-black Ferragamo clutch and a nude lip. And rather than a flower in her hair, as seen on the runway, a sleek updo with bouffant-style volume at the top finished this look with a bang.

Not a great look for Eva…it doesn’t flatter her rather straight up and down figure.

Beautiful, but haven’t we seen this dress a few times before on Eva?
+1 utterly predictable
So many times just in different colors.
This is a masterclass at how to dress for firstly a petite yet curvy body and secondly dark skin/hair.
AMAZiNG!
I like it, but I’m not wowed.

Im wowed, the colour is so beautiful on Evas skin tone, i prefer the dress on her than on the model!
For me, Eva always been-there-done-that. Never, even once, she impress me.
Wonderful colour, perfect styling and Eva wears the dress very well. I don’t like the ruffles though. Aside from my dislike of the ruffles, Eva looks terrific.
At first I thought it was Alberta Ferretti, for the color and ruffles. It is an elegant gown, but I’m not sure if it’s anything new for Eva…or if, aside from the color, it flatters her. I saw pictures of the side view and it was not doing her any favors in the stomach area. That said, I do like her styling.
She is too short to pull off such a high neckline. Don’t like it all except for the colour.
I don’t find this flattering at all.
This is very unflattering, IMO. And I don’t think fuchsia is her color.
