After experimenting with a few different hairstyles towards the end of last year, Solange Knowles returned to her natural ‘fro for the ‘Girls’ Season 2 premiere, held at the NYU Skirball Center in New York City yesterday evening.
When it comes to prints, I love ‘em just as much as Solange, but there is just too much going on with this look.
Dressed in a Just Cavalli Pre-Fall 2013 printed suit, the singer then added a print clutch and black-and-white striped sandals into the mix.
I wish that there was just one solid piece within this look, as my eyes are darting all over the place to take it all in.
A dark-berry lip shade completed her look.

I love Solange but this look is just bad. Too much going on.
Too much print and I find the shoes too jarring. I think Solange would have rocked the first look from the lookbook (minus the shoes) and I would have loved a coloured sandal that compliments a colour in the print.
She is daring and bold but this is too much. Love her shoes though!

Ugh. Hot mess.
Frankly I don’t mind the busy dress, it’s the shoes. I nearly cringed seeing that.
I like the suit a lot, it would have been perfect with the bag and shoes in one color. The ones Solange is using are overloading the overall look.

I agree, block colour clutch and sandals would have improved this look because we know the woman can rock a printed suited with no problems.
