Lena Dunham and Allison Williams made a guest appearance on NBC’s the ‘Today’ show yesterday morning, to promote the new season of ‘Girls’.
The co-stars appeared to have called ahead, as they both wore the colour of the moment: red.
Lena wore a Marni Fall 2012 wool crepe dress with puff sleeves which she styled with Rupert Sanderson ‘Irene’ black strappy suede sandals, recently worn several times by Jessica Chastain.
Allison’s donned an Oscar de la Renta Pre-Fall 2013 red sleeveless dress with a draped detail on the neckline, which was presented as a checked dress when it took to the runway recently.
Her dress is gorgeous, but her coral floral pumps are divine.
Jamie Wolf earrings and glossy wavy tresses complete her look.

Allison MAJORLY outshines Lena here. The dress itself is cute but her posture does it no favors. Allison looks great.

Allison looks fantastic, the complementary pumps are divine, would’ve preferred her hair pulled back to see the interesting structure of the neckline but I don’t really mind her hair down, her wavy tresses are beautiful.

That dress is emphasising all the wrong parts of Lena’s physique – she obviously has a good sense of personal style and is attracted to vintage-inspired, 50′s and 60′s ladylike clothes, but she seems to pick the wrong cut all the time. Perhaps she doesn’t have anyone to help her? Definitely right dress for the wrong girl. Unfortunately for her Lisa looks effortlessly elegant next to her.
I really like those Irene sandals.
Maybe it’s because she’s seated, maybe it’s because she’s not wearing a bra but that dress doesn’t seem to flatter Lena.

I think both girls needed to sit up straight, especially Lena. She also needed a bra with better support. Because Lena is a bit curvy, like myself, we need to elongate ourselves as much as possible when sitting. The colour is great on both girls, they look lovely and fresh, great hair and makeup.
Both dress are great but Allison looks good in her’s she looks polished and groomed. Also her shoes are so lustworthy.
