We’ve seen Lea Michele sunning herself in Hawaii with boyfriend Cory Monteith, but it was back to work yesterday as she took to the red carpet at The Langham Huntington Hotel and Spa in Pasadena, California for the 2013 TCA Winter Press Tour – FOX All-Star Party.
To show off her fresh tan, the ‘Glee’ actress wore a Lisa Ho Spring 2012 ensemble.
The look features an eye-catching silk taffeta bright-yellow jacket and matching mini skirt, paired with a white Bec & Bridge ‘Pointelle’ bodysuit.
While I don’t like white pumps, I have been in lust with those Christian Louboutin ‘Paulina’ pumps with PVC and contrasting leather trim since I saw them at the press day in Paris last year.
The version I saw was a stone-coloured pair with a neon-pink PVC trim and a black leather trim.
Lea opted for a messy side-swept braid, kohl-rimmed eyes and a nude lip to complete her first look on the red carpet for 2013.

I kinda like this.
Not even close. It’s a gorgeous pair and I love the bright-yellow hue but it doesn’t work at all for Lea Michelle. It would be perfect match for Elle Fanning on the other hand.
I often roll my eyes at her red carpet antics even when she looks good (I can’t help it!), but she looks really cute here. Love the yellow and I’m ok with the white shoes bb/c they are a great shoe

I think she has those sort of looks that must be grown into. She often dresses young – which she is – but it does not suit her face. I suspect that in 20 years, she will be magnificent. For now, she frequently looks oddly mismatched.
I really like the shoes in both colours. Lea looks cute here and the yellow is glorious. She should wear bright colours more often, she has the complexion to pull them off well.
The outfit reminds me the type of models created when you learnt to sew at home, especially the skirt. The top looks very cheap, so it’s a no. The braid, the makeup and the yellow color make her very pretty, and I do love the design of the shoes, but not in white.
I agree with Elise that the elastic waistband on the skirt is cheap and amateurish looking. But she looks adorable, even tho the shoes don’t really go with what she is wearing.
It’s very cute and simple. I never realized how great she looks in very saturated colors.
I wanted to love this, but I don’t. That elastic waistband kills this look for me and I don’t like that white top either. Her hair is pretty.

Everything works for me, except the shoes. It’s the black trim that I don’t like to be more specific.
I would give this look a 10 if it weren’t for that elastic waistband…eww. Love the sunny color though and she looks beautiful with that tan.
Love that 1) she isn’t trying too hard 2) the tan looks natural and 3) she’s wearing that gorgeous canary color, which looks lovely on her. Unfortunately, the rest of the ensemble–the illfitted, unflattering, too short skirtset and odd shoe choice–do nothing for her.

This isn’t Lea’s best look but I love the style and the colour is wonderful on her. The shoes are good and I really like her hair in this style as well.
