Elle and Dakota Fanning attended a promotional event for the 2013 J.Estina SS presentation at the Shilla Hotel in Seoul, South Korea earlier today.
It’s rare for us to see the sisters on the red carpet together, so I had no idea that Elle towered over her older sister Dakota, who has reverted back to her natural blonde hue.
Dressed in cute mini dresses, Elle wore a pretty floral Opening Ceremony Resort 2013 frock with a stand-out blue python embellished clutch and a nude pair of Miu Miu platform bow-front peep-toes.
Elle’s choice of footwear could which could explain why she’s that much taller than Dakota as she wore metallic silver Miu Miu loafers with her ethereal white lace Nina Ricci Resort 2011 sleeveless dress.
Like Elle, Dakota carried a contrasting clutch which stood out against her simple look.
Both look cute, fresh and youthful, but I’m captivated by that gorgeous floral print on Elle’s dress and her soft subtle wavy tresses.

Love Elle’s hair. Nice to see it pretty
I love Elle’s dress, but, yet again, she’s wearing the ugliest shoes possible. I don’t get it.
I agree! I ruins the whole look for me.
I prefer Dakota’s look. Elle’s shoes are awful.
+1
Are Dakota’s shoes Marc Jacobs? And I really love her Nina Ricci dress but I guess everyone can agree that Elle is more adventurous with fashion. Dakota’s choices are usually safe and from the same coulour palette. And like you, FC I realy do wish she’s do something different with her hair!
I much prefer Dakota here. From the silver brogues to the pink clutch, her outfit feels more effortless.
As usual, Elle is doing too much lol. She’s young so I don’t hold it against her. But her clutch clashes with the floral print of her dress. And I’m not a fan of her sandals.
PS: Both of the girls’ roots need a touch-up.
Not liking the shoes on either looks.
+1
I said it then and I’ll say it again now. I hate those silly flatforms.
I always have my issues with the styling of these two on the red carpet, but I seriously love Dakota’s loafers.
As always, something is off with the Fannings. Elle’s hair is beautiful here, and I love the print…however the dress is too short and though the clutch is fab it doesn’t go. The shoes are horrendous.
Dakota’s hair is familiarly limp. The dress is too cutesy and I don’t like her clutch or her shoes.
Am I the only one who has issues with both girls hair colour? It’s doing nothing for their complexions.
No, you are not the only one.
On what planet is this urine-colored blonde hair “natural” on these two?
Their roots are sooooooooooo dark!!!
Neither look works well for either girl. Elle’s dress is way too short for her and doesn’t work well for her body type, and Dakota’s look reads more 12 y.o. rather than 18.
