Zhang Ziyi continued her busy week at the Chinese Music Charts Concert in Taipei, Taiwan on Saturday.
She opted for a stunning Reem Acra Spring 2013 gown.
The heavenly cream gown with gold floral embroidered details on the bodice was the perfect way to close a very stylish year for the Asian actress.
Many of us thought she had lost her desire to opt for princess-like gowns, as she tried out many edgier looks throughout the year, so this spectacular gown will no doubt delight many of you.
A simple updo, Sergio Rossi pumps and dazzling Bulgari earrings completed her look.
You may remember that Carrie Underwood also wore this gown.

Who Was Your Best Dressed On Day 6 of Cannes Film Festival 2013?

I really like this gown. It’s princess like, but not overwhelmingly so. You know who I could also see wearing this…..or has worn something very similar in the past…Carrie Underwood.
But with Zhang’s darker hair, I would probably prefer it on her
Very pretty–but just a tad boring.
The woman is beyond gorgeous! She can wear a potato sack, I would still find her beautiful and elegant
I prefer the unlined runway version. Carrie Underwood also wore this gown at the 2012 CMA Awards.
+1
This is the second time she’s worn the same Reem Acra gown as Carrie Underwood
Didn’t Carrie Underwood wear this to the CMAs? I personally think Carrie wore it better, even though I’m not a fan of her pageant hair. Ziyi didn’t wear the dress with the sheer part on the bodice, which makes it look more stiff.
Carrie Underwood wore this to the CMAs!
I like Zhang’s version much better, because the front panel is lined–in fact, this is BDOTW worthy! Actually, I don’t love this look–I adore it. It may just be my first BDOTY contender (Lol, I’m starting early!)
Pretty dress, elegant styling, would’ve liked to see it on someone a bit taller – the gown seems a tad long for her and is slightly hanging off her.
+1
Carrie Underwood also wore this dress right?
Pretty, but too much of the sheerness has been covered up. Carrie wore it better.
Very boring look. The dress is divine… But not on either of these two. Shame it was not worn by someone with height and a lot more substance and stature…
Carrie Underwood wore the same dress at the CMA’s. I prefer the dress on Zhang because of her darker hair bur i LOVE the unlined version of the dress . So I prefer it on Carrie.
But Zhang does look beautiful.
It’s amazing how getting rid of the sheerness increased the bland factor on this gown. It’s almost inversely proportional.
It really needs the sheer bit up the top to make the gown more amazing.
Carrie Underwood’s sheer panel looked very tacky. Much prefer it on Zhang.
I think she looks splendid, her elegant styling and princess poise carry this off. I prefer it lined, I feel the the embroidery looks better on the white fabric rather than the sheer bodice. BDOTW worthy.
I agree with you 100%. She is gorgeous just as she it. I would change nothing.
Very cool but little booring yeahh
