Gao Yuanyuan attended Grazia’s 100th issue celebratory party held at Shanghai Shallow Water Bay Culture Center in China last week.
The actress opted for a floral-printed Stella McCartney Resort 2013 blazer, which she styled with a simple white Uniqlo tank top and a fish-tail sculptured skirt by Chinese-born designer Masha Ma.
While I’m fascinated and I like the idea behind the Spring 2013 skirt, I’m equally eager to take scissors to the section below the knee.
Alexander Wang ‘Fabiana’ metallic sandals and a Chanel ‘Le Boy’ shoulder bag accessorized her look.
Even with this look featuring an edgy skirt, I’m more drawn to the floral-print blazer. Are you?

Agree! She looks great though
So true! I SO want to cut off that part… this look is nice enough without that “edginess”.
Exactly. Its really not needed.
And I loveee that floral blazer!
Love this!
Definitely drawn to the blazer, it is gorgeous and I like how she rolled the sleeves. While I don’t enjoy the full on print from the lookbook, using a single piece in an outfit is fantastic. The skirt detail does throw the look a bit but everything else is perfection.
Asians love Stella McCartney. The blazer is nice.
I think she looks flawless. I’m in love with the whole look. BDOTW contender.
I love the sculptured skirt and the floral-print blazer is lovely but it was simply a bad decision to combine these pieces together – she should’ve worn either a simle pencil skirt with the blazer as a statement element, or showed off the interesting structure of the skirt by wearing it with a simple top.
I like that she made the look her own by mixing designers and rolling up the jacket sleeves. The beautiful jacket makes me want to overlook that ugly skirt
Ok…so I’m a bit torn. Love the blazer with the white skirt (much better without the printed skirt), and really, I think the whole look is great. The skirt is–cool, and one second I love the fishtail and the next I want to take scissors to it too! Lol. It’s still BDOTW-worthy.
the details on the skirt are just unnecessary.
