Towards the end of last year, Zhang Ziyi attended the BQ Awards 2012 held in Beijing, China, where she picked up an award.
The beautiful actress once again opted for a dress by her favourite designer, Marc Bouwer.
Her gold sequined Fall 2012 dress with futuristic sculptured sleeves was styled with matching gold YSL ‘Palais’ peep-toes and gold jewels.
Looking effortlessly elegant as always, she completed her look with a simple ponytail and flawless makeup.

I’m underwhelmed by the look. For one thing, I don’t like sequins. For the other, the dress could’ve been 2 inches shorter and 1 size smaller. It’s nice to see celebs in Asia wear more small labels. I wondered if it had something to do with the rise of Lane Crawford. Sarah Rutson’s Lane Crawford is much more fashion forward than all the extravagant, decadent malls in mainland combined.
