Shu Qi In Stella McCartney – ‘Journey to the West’ Beijing Press Conference

Shu Qi attended the Beijing press conference for her latest project, ‘Journey to the West’, in China last Thursday.

The actress wore a Stella McCartney one-sleeved illusion cut-out dress, which she accessorized with electric-blue patent pumps with embellishments on the heel.

Usually demure, I love this sexier look on Shu Qi. I love the pops of blue via her nails and pumps, but I wish she had swept her hair over her other shoulder to show off the more interesting, sculptured details.

You can buy Shu’s Stella McCartney dress from Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, Luisa via Roma,
Matches Fashion Global and Matches Fashion UK.

I agree. I love this, but her hair should have been over the other shoulder.

Not too keen on the one-sleeve or the cut-outs. The sculptured detail is not that pretty, so I don’t mind she partially covered it up. Overall she makes this sexier look work quite well for her.

Wow, she looks amazing. Someone who actually looks good in Stella. Truly.

Oh my gosh….those shoes!!!! Gorgeous blue!! And I agree with you, her hair should have been swept to the other side. I would have liked to have seen the detailing

See I knew it. It’s not even a full week into the new year and already we have our second Stella MCCartney RC look.

On the plus side, she is making this look her own. Love the styling!

Stunning! I don’t mind the hair as it keeps the dress from looking overly sexy. Plus I love her bold earrings!

I get her nails are the same color, but I wish the shoes related better to the overall look. They are jarring to me.

Wow, simply stunning! She’s come a long way from her humble beginning and she’s proven her unusual beauty. Certainly beats all the Chinese Barbies, including one actress actually named Barbie (Hsu). She’s a movie star, period.

She is really pretty. I also think it would have been good had her hair been on the other shoulder but I really like this look. Love the pops of blue.

Lovely and beautiful from head to toe. Great dress and I love the nail polish matched with the shoes.

I’m with you on the hair issue, but the pop of electric blue was simply a delightful surprise! Great look!

I know that the sheer inserts add interest, but I still don’t like them. I do love the electric blue pops though.

She playfully sexy here and I like the shade of her nails ans shoes. Her hair looks fab too.

I like the way she tailored the cut outs, but I’m not convinced the blue shoes add anything.

Shu Qi is ever the sexy goddess in this one-sleeved Stella McCartney number with daring cut out details!!! Love her side swept hair, the gold earrings and the electric blue pumps are so unexpected!!! Super gorgeous and fabulous!! Of course BDOTW contender, Shu Qi is right on!!!

I love Shu, I love the dress, I hate the platform shoes but the color is still nice
