Nieves Alvarez proved to the world that when it comes to celebrity footwear, there are more than two brands (Christian Louboutin and Brian Atwood) and that there are more than two styles (‘Maniacs’ and ‘Daffodiles’).
The Spanish TV host took over this vacation position once held so proudly by Leighton Meester, giving us an array of lust worthy pumps, sandals and ankle boots is various colours during the run on Solo Moda.
Never did a black pump nor a ‘Maniac’ touch her well-manicured feet and didn’t we love her for it.

I’m not crazy about any of those shoes. Personally, I’m envious of a lot of Gwyneth Paltrow’s shoes. Sometimes Rihanna, too.
Serious question here: what’s so offensive about a black pump? Everytime I see a woman on here wearing one it causes such a grumble. Is it not allowed ever or something? I’m trying to understand it.

Fortunately, FC doesn’t mind dissent. I’ve spoken up for the use of a black pump and even a white shoe on occassion without recrimination. It’s fashion, not math, there are no right answers.

Yes, yes, YES!!! Thank you, FC, for introducing Nieves Alvarez to us. Through her I got to see a tremendous variety of fall looks worn in the fall while everyone else jumped straight into resort and spring looks. And the shoes –*swoon*. No one else came close for me.

Elizabeth Banks, Diane Kruger, Gwyneth Paltrow and Nina Dobrev and Solange Knowles were few who really come to my mind when I think of regularly giving shoe game.
If Bella Heathcote keeps up the good work, she may have a shot at the title next year.

Nieves is the best model ever. I admire her a lot, and all her looks are amazing. For me should be the best of the year, but as i won’t be, at least she needs to be Best TV Host EVER!
