Brittany Snow wore this gorgeous periwinkle-blue Georges Hobeika Fall 2012 Couture dress to the ‘Pitch Perfect’ LA premiere back in September.

The enticing colour of her Swarovski-beaded and organza-and-velvet floral appliquéd dress made her baby-blue eyes pop. The key to pulling off this look was effortless styling, which the actress mastered.

Sadly the same can’t be said for Yao Chen.

The actress wore the same dress a month later to the L’Officiel 2012 China Elegance Awards in Beijing, China and sucked all the elegance out of the frock with her heavy-handed styling of the look.

Even the blue nails were a step too far, but she also added a nude Bulgari clutch and cobalt-blue Christian Louboutin ‘Daffodile’ pumps.

Brittany wins by a country mile.
