Who Wore Peter Pilotto Better…Olga Kurylenko or Olivia Munn?

Back in August I thought Olga Kurylenko’s Peter Pilotto Fall 2012 dress with velvet panels was an odd choice for the InStyle annual Summer Soiree.

There is no denying that she looks gorgeous in the digital-print frock with cut-out details, but she clearly ignored the screaming obvious dress code – a summery dress.

Simple accessories including a black Christian Louboutin clutch and Christian Louboutin ‘Crosspiga’ pumps completed her look.

Two months later, Olivia Munn wore the same dress to the 2012 Courage in Journalism Awards.

She also styled her frock with Christian Louboutin pumps, but hers were of the T-bar variety.

I love that she wore her hair back and opted for barely-there makeup.

After much deliberation I picked Olivia for keeping the look simple with the focus on the dress.

Olga for me. I prefer her hair, shoes, and that she added a clutch. Also she wears the dress very effortlessly (though in the wrong season).

Neither does it for me. This dress is so awkward and unflattering. The designer totally missed on this one!

Olivia made the right choice to pull her hair back not to distract from the print and detailing, but I much prefer the dress on Olga’s figure and her shoe choice, so Olga gets my vote.
