Cecilia Cheung attended the ifeng.com Fashion Awards in Beijing, China.
I wonder if she was up for best dressed as she looked fabulous wearing a Valentino Fall 2012 full-length dress.
We’ve all been guilty of complaining about celebs dressing for the wrong season, but this look couldn’t be more season appropriate.
Giving us plenty of festive cheer, the actress styled her multi-coloured printed frock, covered entirely with sequins, with gold accessories.
I think I would’ve been tempted to belt this dress. Would you?

I adore this, it’s got a lovely vintage vibe and she wears it elegantly.
Yes, I love it too–and normally I wouldn’t have but she pulls it off very nicely and I do appreciate the vintage/festive feel. I would have added a narrow belt but I don’t miss it particularly. The purple highlights in her hair are all that’s throwing me off.
I would’ve preferred a belt too, but she looks stunning nonetheless.
She looks elegant and I like the clutch and the earrings she has added, but the pattern of this dress reminds me too much of a very fancy gift wrap paper…very festive and season appropriate, yes, but maybe too much?
And yes, I would have belted it too.
P.s. Does she have purple highlights in her hair or is it just a trick of the lights?
Yes she does
I like the colour combination.
I like this look. apart from the clutch.
Matronly and “overdecorated”.
I really don’t like this dress…sorry
