Hailee Steinfeld celebrated her Sweet 16 at the Rolling Stone Restaurant and Lounge in LA on Saturday.
The pretty actress wore a Louis Vuitton Spring 2013 romper.
Her black-and-ivory checked romper was styled with a bright-red Louis Vuitton clutch, which matched her nail polish, and nude ankle-strap Nicholas Kirkwod pumps with a red platform.
I loved this look until I got to the heels. The style isn’t the issue because what 16-year-old doesn’t want to wear platform heels on their birthday?
It’s more the colour.
I think even solid black would’ve worked better for me here.
Yay or nay on the heels?

She looks great. I think the shoes go very well with the romper. And I love the pop of red.

+3, the shoes don’t mind me at all! She totally sold this look to me as I HATED the collection!
The shoes work for me, they are neutral. The hair is distracting. I wish it was pushed back
I agree. I think a ponytail would’ve been a better choice. But she looks gorgeous. I love the romper and the red clutch.
I agree. I think a ponytail would have been better but I like the whole outfit.
I agree. The hair is not working for me here. Love everything else though.
I only have problem with the hair too, it overwhelms the look, way too distracting, should’ve been pulled back.
I like it! The shoes do have red on the soles so it ties in with the outfit. I have major hair envy!
I would say yay, I usually don’t lie matching accessories, but her pouch matches the platform of the shoes, which is not a bad.
*I usually don’t like*
Nay on the shoes & nay on the hair & nay on the clutch. Love the romper, though.
Love the shoes, age appropriate to tone the outfit down.

yay on the whole thing, cute and fashionable
I agree she looks really adorable. I have no problem with the shoes.
Not a fan of rompers but she does look very cute here! I don’t mind the shoes, actually, since they have a pop of red and black. Maybe if they had been cream instead of nude, to match the romper?
The hair is my problem. I wish that she’d pulled it back.
I think Hailee Steinfeld, is incapable of choosing the wrong accessories. I hate platform pumps, especially Kirkwood, but they work with this outfit perfectly.
Very nice!
