Last week, Anne Hathaway joined Amanda Seyfried at the Four Seasons restaurant in New York City for a luncheon hosted for her latest movie, ‘Les Miserables’.
The actress wore a Carven Spring 2013 look.
A sleeveless blue blouse with a contrasting maroon round-tip collar was styled with a raffia tweed skirt A-line skirt, tights and Aldo vegan-friendly pumps.
With her tiny waist she didn’t need that thick black leather belt.
It’s not often we see Anne in such playful looks. This style really suits her boyish cropped ‘do.
Jamie Wolf scallop stud earrings and a pink lip colour completed her look.

Her waist is tiny indeed, but I still miss the belt.
I agree. Actually I miss a belt, it doesn’t have to be the runway belt, but definitely a belt.
Me too. It’s still a cute look but the belt made it special. Anne does look great here!
This look is a drab on her.
I’m not too fond of the look in the first place, but it’s kinda working on the model.
On Anne I don’t like it, it’s not very flattering to her figure.
In this tour she hasn’t really convinced me. I hope that when the awards season will come around she’ll be almost sure of that Oscar and she’ll stop the whole trying too hard thing.
+1 on everything
The tights kill the skirt in my opinion. Don’t love this.
BTW, FC, that Reed Krakoff bag is to die for.
i know…need, want
I don’t think the blouse flatters Anne. The cut makes her shoulders look droopy, the bust area as well.
I agree. This is not flattering.
It looks better on the model.
This is mediocre on the model and on Anne rather unattractive. I think the belt is necessary to keep the outfit from looking drab and droopy.
The dark tights, although they go well enough with the tweed skirt, only serve to weigh the look downward.
Agreed, this isn’t working. The look is very unbalanced – too heavy in the bottom (the heavy tweed further weighed down by the tights) and way too light on top (a light sleeveless blouse).
The belt feels necessary to complete the look.
+1
+2. A mess.
I think she looks adorable and the look does work very well with her hairstyle.
This is just head to toe boring. I love Anne and it pains me to say but its just very dull. The tights take it from playful to dowdy for me.
The skirt makes the hips look low and wide on both the model and Hathaway. Not a desirable effect.
I am glad she didn’t wear the belt and I love the bright pink lip. I think she looks great.
This whole promo tour is awful as far as Anne’s wardrobe goes. One day she was in this matronly ensemble, the next day she was in an awkward Tom Ford number suggesting catwoman-goes-Yohji Yamamoto and then another day some thin, flimsy gown that looked more drenchy than drapey. Does being married mean you don’t care how you look anymore?
