Kristen Davis hit the red carpet at the Armani Hotel in Dubai on Friday for the Dubai Cares and Oxfam ‘One Night Lives’ Charity Gala.
The ‘Sex and the City’ actress donned a long, black vintage Dior dress for the occasion, which she paired with a lacy jacket, gold necklace and simple black clutch.
The heart-shaped neckline of the Dior gown is stunning, but sadly, Davis took attention away from this unique detail by adding the sparkly jacket – which also hides the shape-defining waistband.
But with simple makeup and the front of her wavy, classic-movie-star locks pinned back, the actress shines bright and looks every bit the star that she is.

I like the jacket. I think it keeps it from just being a simple black gown.
If it’s in Dubai, perhaps the jacket was to be more culturally appropriate.
I think the jacket works very well here. But I don’t like the necklace, the bracelet, the shoes and her white nailpolish.

I actually like the jacket with this dress.
I think this whole ensemble makes her look about 1000 years old. The dress seems too big, the jacket is mumsy, the necklace is too much.
this has got to be one of the worst looks I’ve ever seen!
i love Kristen as an actress but she gets no love from me for this look. the jacket is weird and the black on black doesn’t work on this occasion, the necklace is wrong, and the hair looks like decided to add a hair clip last minute, and what’s with the white nail polish?!
It’s vintage Dior Courure and the jacket is stunning. It’s very appropriate for the region but I don’t love the vintage Henri necklace with it.
