Back in May, Michelle Pfeiffer wore a Bordeaux silk-satin Lanvin dress to the ‘Dark Shadows’ London premiere, with Cathy Waterman and Samira 13 jewels plus her favourite Sergio Rossi ‘Cachet’ black pumps.
While I’m not crazy about the dress, this was one of the rare times Michelle didn’t wear another black dress, so she got points for that, but she loses them again for the tight fit and creases.
The dress looks vastly better on Naomie, who wore the dress to the ‘Skyfall’ Madrid photocall; however, her Pierre Hardy ankle boots shorten her long lean legs.
Cameron Diaz wore the same dress last month to TAG Heuer’s ‘A Night Under The Stars’ event, with a Lanvin statement necklace, Slane bangles, Carla Amorim ring, De Beers earrings and, of course, her Tag Heuer ‘Link Lady Trilogy’ limited edition watch.
Third time was not a charm.
As I prefer the dress in the rich Bordeaux colour, Naomie wins for me.
Mostly because of her flawless makeup, but also because her dress has a better fit.

Although I prefer the Bordeaux version too, Cameron Diaz wins for me.
Naomie for the color and hair though the rest of Cameron’s styling is better.
Cameron wins for me.
Cameron here too. i would have gone Naomie but the booties put a stop to that.
Naomie by a very long mile even with the booties – the colour, the fit, hair and makeup, and I understand she went with the edgier approach with the cuff and booties.
