Menswear Red Carpet Round Up

Here is a quick round up of the other Dapper Dan’s who took to the red carpet last night.

Sacha Baron Cohen: He was in New York City last night without his gorgeous wife, Isla Fisher, for the ‘Les Miserables’ premiere. He donned a black Dolce & Gabbana three-piece suit with a white shirt and oxblood tie.

Jason Clarke: The actor joined Jessica Chastain on the red carpet for the ‘Zero Dark Thirty’ LA premiere wearing a grey Brunello Cucinelli suit.

Jason Aldean: The country singer attended the 2012 American Country Awards in Las Vegas, Nevada last night wearing typical country singer garb, donning a black Stetson, a Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2012 jacket, distressed jeans and cowboy boots. I don’t know about you, but I think he looks better than the ladies who attended this event. Do you agree?

Hugh Jackman: The Australian actor joined his ‘Les Miserables’ co-stars on the red carpet wearing a Louis Vuitton black suit with a sleek leather trim, keeping the look traditional with a white shirt and black tie.

Edgar Ramirez: The actor joined Jason Clark and Jessica Chastain on the red caret for the ‘Zero Dark Thirty’ LA premiere wearing a ink-blue Dior suit. Ink-blue is becoming the new black.

Robert James Collier: The actor joined his ‘Downtown Abbey’ co-stars at the Ralph Lauren-hosted Season 3 screening, wearing a black velvet Ralph Lauren suit with a red check shirt and a black tie. I like that he stepped out of the black-grey-blue shirt box into a more festive option.

Frank Grillo: The actor wore a very smart charcoal-and-sable Joseph Abboud wool plaid peak lapel two-piece suit with a white open-neck shirt to the ‘Zero Dark Thirty’ LA premiere.

Mark Duplass: Opting for a dark hue on the red carpet for the ‘Zero Dark Thirty’ LA premiere, Mark selected a Todd Snyder Spring 2013 midnight-blue suit with contrasting grosgrain black lapels. A white pocket square and Chritstian Louboutin ‘Platers’ flats completed his tie-less look.

Mark Boal: Also wearing Joseph Abboud to the ‘Zero Dark Thirty’ LA premiere, Mark selected a grey suit with a white shirt and black shoes.

Chris Pratt: The actor was one of the few wearing a Joseph Abboud suit, who opted for a tie with his notch lapel two-piece black suit on the red carpet for the ‘Zero Dark Thirty’ LA premiere. I was beginning to think Joseph Abboud didn’t make ties.

I see one more row has been added…out of the 3 tie-less looks in the bottom row, looks like Mark Duplass needs a tie the most.

Yes, those are the only two that work for me. Hugh in particular looks fabulous. Jason looks terrible.

Sasha easily wins for me! Lean, tall and sharp. It is his intelligence that turns his douchebaggery into unflappable confidence. So handsome! Chris Platt … please buy a gym membership. He and his wife both blew up. Where’s that hot young man in Everwood?

Mark D should be best dressed just for those killer Louboutins. Very striking. I love Hugh Jackman and also agree Alex Skars was great. The rest leave nothing for me.

All three gents in the middle row look fantastic. Rob’s shirt was a great choice given the nature of the event. I liked Frank’s suit too, he looked cool even sans tie.
