Zoe Saldana showed her support for the Children’s Defense Fund of California by attending the 22nd Annual Beat The Odds Awards at Beverly Hills Hotel in California yesterday evening.
I love the rich plum colour of this Giambattista Valli Resort 2013 belted shantung dress.
The design may be simple, but the colour is gorgeous, especially against her caramel skin.
Zoe opted to match her Gucci t-bar sandals to her dress, with a grey python Lanvin clutch providing a colour contrast to her event-appropriate look.

It’s not the most exciting look, but I do think she looks very nice. I love her shoes and clutch.
This is boring. I wished that she had worn the lookbook shoes.

Wish she’d pulled her hair back into a neat ‘do. Great colour, the shape isn’t working that well for her imo (I find the skirt slightly overwhelms her), not a fan of her choice of the matching shoe but overall it’s a nice event-appropriate look.

Love the color. Zoe wearing Valli has been a winning combo in the past and could have been here. Am wondering why Zoe seems a little off her game these days. There are some glimmers of goodness here so I am keeping hope alive.

She looks very chic and elegant–love the color and it’s a return of old Zoe, although old Zoe would have worn the lookbook shoes.
