Sarah Jessica Parker was out again last night, attending the New 42nd Street Gala at The New Victory Theater in New York City.
The actress, who wowed me on her last outing, doesn’t get the same praise on this occasion.
Dressed in a Vivienne Westwood shimmering silver draped dress, I find this look to be very dowdy.
Usually one to over-accessorize to compensate for a so-so look, she didn’t even do that on this occasion, selecting silver bracelets and another pair of Jean-Michel Cazabat ‘Emma’ pumps, this time in sequined bronze.
A rare snooze from SJP.

How to Achieve the Classic Blowout

Nothing really exciting here.
I wonder why she always were such heavy make up on eyes since she has little eyes, I d’ont think this is a good thing for her.
personally i am loving this look.
I think she should’ve have swapped shoes and worn those lavender python pumps that she wore on her previous outing with this dress and the bronze sequinned pair here with the rust dress from yesterday.
I agree on the shoes. I actually really like this dress. It’s flattering.
+2 – it’s the shoes/missing accessories. Otherwise a fine dress and great fit.
Snooze is definitely the word to describe this look.
Ok look.
Boring and we rarely say that about SJP.
Nothing really excites me here…
I love this look!she looks great……..!
I was going to say… ITA about the snoozefest.
Her hair and makeup are aging, and she needs to work on her stance. Overall, it does feel very dowdy to me too.
+1 and I would love to see more blonde around her face.
This dress looks so dated.
her make-up scares me.
I actually really like this dress! It’s very pretty I only wish she had worn the lavender shoes with this and the bronze shoes with the other. Then both looks would be amazing. Her hair is a bit messy here but otherwise I prefer this look.
love the dress, I think it is lovely
