Gerard Butler makes us swoon twice in one day – lucky us.
Prior to taking the red carpet for the ‘Playing for Keeps’ New York premiere, he was setting female hearts a flutter outside the ABC Times Square Studios prior to his guest appearance on ‘Good Morning’ America.
So maybe my theory that men tend to stick to one brand is flawed, because on this occasion Gerard wore a Calvin Klein suit.
The navy chintz wool one-button notch lapel suit, from the Fall 2012 collection, designed by Italo Zucchelli, the brands’ Men’s Creative Director, was styled with a light blue dress shirt, blue tie and black leather shoes from the same collection.
Many of you expressed that you loved his black-on-black red carpet look, so if you could put just one of his looks up for the menswear BDOTW, which one would you choose?
It’s a coin toss for me.

I don’t like how the pants are fitted. So the black on black look.
He looks dapper, but I would but the Dolce & Gabbana look up for BDOTW, because the fit of the pants were better.
+1.
Both.
…but if I had to choose just one, then his black-on-black one – I do like the colour palette of this one but his black-on-black look was sleeker and he was really rocking it more.
+1 If the fit had been good as the Dolce look I might have chosen this but as it is- the Dolce for BDOTW.
The Dolce look is a winner for me for BDOTW, but he looks good here too.
Great day for yummy men.
I rather put both looks in the BDOTW poll, but if I have to choose one I would pick this one. I think I’m too in love with blue and with him
I like the other look better but he looks good no matter what.
Although he looks great here, the black D&G look would be my first choice.
Lucky us, indeed.
I would pick the black D&G look. Even though he looks equally great here, the outfit fells like something my father would wear, which is not a good thing.
The Dolce and Gabbana would be my choice for BDOTW. He looks good here but not as good as the Dolce.
I like this suit but the total black outfit is better, he looked really great.
I’m joining the chorus of praise for his Dolce suit, because it was fitted to a T and the black was cool. This is stylish, but that was at a different level.
I’m just going to come out & say it – I can’t get past what is going on with his pants to notice anything else. Please forgive me.
