Rose Byrne opted for a volcanic look for her guest appearance at the Sephora Times Square store, where she cut the ribbon for the grand reopening earlier today.
Dressed in a red-and-black printed cocktail Monique Lhuillier Fall 2012 dress with a drop-waist, she styled the look with tight curls and a salmon lip colour, which was a surprising choice considering red would’ve been the more obvious one.
I really like Rose’s black Gio Dev pumps. Before you think I’m coming down with something, what I like about them is the red piping detail, which coordinates well with her red-and-black printed frock.

The style of her dress is sooo much better than the plain fit of the runway model. I adore this look from head to toe!
I like this better on the runway.
I also like Rose’s fit better than the model’s. It’s a lovely look.
So “volcanically” sexy on the model sans sleeves and with the waist cinched in with the belt, sexier shoe and slicked back hair, but mumsy on Rose esp. with that silly hairstyle.
The hairstyle belongs to other outfit.
I like the pumps with this dress too. The only thing I don’t like here is her hair.
The model looks sexy in the runway version but Rose in her version looks a tad dull. I don’t mind the shape per se but with better hair- a slick up do and better shoes (the red lining isn’t enough make them exciting from here) this would be a lot better.
what happened to her hair?
Love everything but her hair, which, though a different style from her usual sleek bob, is a bit childish. I LOVE the dress though–so cute and better than the runway where it’s just another sheath-with-a-cool-print. Not that I don’t enjoy S-W-A-C-P as much as the next person, it’s just nice to switch it up sometimes
The shoes are a nice touch, and the lipstick surprisingly works.
I love this look from head to toe.
Love the silhouette of Rose’s dress and it is a stunning print. It also fits perfectly!
very nice and elegant
